Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights . It was our last stop on a month long trip around India. It was just a stop gap before we go home. It was close to the airport so was handy for that reason . We arrived on 31st December. Our first night was terrible, people shouting and running between rooms half the night. They were setting up for a party on the roof so from about 7pm till 10pm all you could hear was chairs and tables getting dragged about above . Then about 10pm the music started . Between the noise in the hallway the people partying in the hallway and the party above i had a terrible sleep. I do relise it was new year eve and just put ear plugs in . After that the next day everything was back to normal and there was no noise. Room. A decent size room with a small fridge and a kettle and tea coffee making facilities. There was a tv and cable chanels. Wifi worked well. A/C worked well and there was a celing mounted fan also. Breakfast. There was some indian choice, various breakfast cereal, choice of eggs , toast, pancakes. Myself and my boyfriend normaly get 2 tea's and 2 coffee's. I have the tea and he has the coffee. The reason we ask for 2 each is because the cups are small and we dont like to wait we like to eat our breakfast drink our tea/coffee and get out for the day . We dont like spending loads of time sitting about at breakfast waiting for cups of tea/coffee. There was a girl server and she couldnt get why we were asking for 2 each at the same time and more or less ignored us and just gave us 1 each we had to ask 3 times for another 1. Overall. We only booked this hotel because it was close to airport. It served its purpose . The staff were polite and freindly . Its in a good part of the city the Khar Rd railway station is only 10 mins walk. It takes about 30 mins to Churchgate .

Spend a night here last week. The room was small but comfortable. The linen fresh and the bathroom was clean. The restaurant serves good vegetarian and non vegetarian food and the portion is sufficient for three. You can have unlimited drinks for a fixed amount. The service is good. The breakfast spread is ample and well thought out. They prepare dosas and eggs to order besides the other dishes like wadas, idlis, etc. All in all a comfortable stay.

The Oriental residency is definitely a good place to stay at Mumbai. I stayed for two days and enjoyed very good & delicious breakfast,Room is quite clean & neat, its proximity to Link Road plus point for street shopping, the behaviour of staffs were very polite in nature " Always with smile"

I must say Oriental residency is definitely a good place to stay at Mumbai, khar. I stayed for weeks multiple times and enjoyed very good service from mainly Arun , Patrick. They always used to greet me with smile whenever I walked into restaurant for tea or breakfast. Breakfast is good and the restaurant veg biryani, Thai, burnt garlic rice are the best in taste. Rooms are serviced good. Rooms are good and hygiene but comes with a cost of 4k INR. Internet is fast and accessible. My few suggestions : Green Vegetables in the breakfast buffet and whole fruits. Add Phulka in the hotel. Before I end the comments, I appreciate Mr Arun service at daily breakfast buffet.

Unfriendly and unhelpful front desk staff of the Hotel. Although booked room for three persons, at the time of checkout they asked payment for extra bed. When told about the booking which was made for three persons, they insisted for paying for breakfast charges for third person.Without knowing the booking conditions they insisted for making additional payment which was not due.It seems they feel they have monopoly and there is compulsion for guests to choose their Hotel. Seriously feel Owner of Hotel to regularly review the performance of staff which appears missing. No hospitality attitude and they take no time to refuse any request of the Guests. Very rude attitude

Room is quite clean & neat, its proximity to Link Road plus point for street shopping, Service at Restaurant was very good and well taken care by Arun .. He ensures everyone gets warm Welcome and Breakfast (personalized) at the Restaurant in the morning..

Hotel is ideally located in town close to all the sight seeing attractions, local bars and restaurants. The staff are friendly especially the lovely guys on the front gate, who always had a smile and a hello for you. The rooms are clean and functional which is reflected in the price and serviced daily. All I would recommend is maybe some more information in the room detailing room service number, restaurant opening times, I don't know if this hotel has a bar as I was never informed and never saw one? Would definitely return.

My first stay at this hotel, did not know what to expect, from the moment i checked in there was absolutely no flaw, we stayed for two nights and was highly impressed. Front office staff Mr Thomson and FB manager Mr Nelson, needs a lot of credit, their customer service skills are fantastic. The location is a plus point, if only they would provide free airport transfers, i would give it 5*.

We stayed at the hotel for almost 5 nights. The staff is extremely not helpful including the management. We had the window open and we had advised them to close it. While we were in the room, we wanted to enjoy the room and we were refused that the window cannot be open due to security reasons while we were in the room.

The hotel is located very close to everyday amenities like Khar station, good food joints, hospital, bus stops, etc. Linking road and Bandra are within 500 m. The north Indian food served here is among the best I have had in Mumbai. The hospitable staff like Nelson and Arun who handle the restaurant in the morning, Victor part of the front office and the housekeeping team will know your personal preferences and make an effort to make your stay a secure and comfortable one. It is a safe place to stay. Looking forward to being back!
