Room 3/5 (average room, for this kind of hotel and price, I expect a bigger bathroom and clean walls) Service 2/5 (hotel charged my credit card in Euro (more costly) instead of Rupees without asking; breakfast buffet was taken away at 10:30 straight, while we were still eating) Location 4/5 (located central in Bandra and close to the airport)
We stayed here for 4 nights in February for a friend's wedding in Juhu. Great location for the wedding and other celebrations locally, but it was a long way out from the more touristy south Mumbai (Gateway of India, Elephanta Island, etc.) so I'm not sure it would work for tourists, unless you didn't mind a long taxi ride! We were given a free upgrade to an apartment which was brilliant, and was really comfortable. The apartment was spacious, with lots of nice touches such as dressing gowns, slippers, free bottled water and a paper every day. The bed was very comfortable and the AC and fridge were useful too. Breakfast was great, lots of options - fresh fruit, yoghurt, traditional Indian foods, omelettes, eggs, baked muffins, toast etc. All were very tasty and the omelette/eggs cooked to order in front of us. The staff were very helpful both on the reception desk and restaurant. The only downside we could find was that the WIFI logged us out every day, so each time we wanted to us it we needed to log back in, but that's not really a huge problem. Overall we had a great stay and we would recommend to anyone staying in Bandra/Juhu/Andheri, etc. but perhaps too far from the south for tourists.
The staff is very cooperative and helpful. The quality of food is great. The location is good at the midst of the city and near to the airport. Very warm ambience. Very peaceful environment. Good amenities. Overall a pleasant stay. Special Thanks to Mr. Farhat and General Manager Mr. Tariq Chaudhari.
Me and my husband checked in on 7th Feb 2018, our stay was pretty awesome. But this review is not about my stay but the always helpful stuff who helps you even after check out. A very special mention to Aaquib Chandiwala. He helped me even after my check out. Thank you for all the help and see you soon. Rituparna Banerjee
We recently stayed here with a family of 4 while we were visiting family in the area. The apartments are very comfortable and the service is excellent. The location is perfect - walking distance (or short rickshaw ride) to all the attractions in the area (bars, restaurants, shops, joggers park, etc).
First the personnel who really make your stay memorable. You are welcomed to the hotel by a smiling and cheerful Sikh gentleman - the best greeting a person could ask for in that drippy rainy monsoon season. The desk staff Fahad and cohorts were very helpful and knowledgeable. Ayaan (Captain) and Sahil(?) who ran the restaurant were attentive and very personable. The staff Naresh, Mulund (forgive me for not remembering all your names) kept us well fed and happy. They were all managed by a kindly gentleman Mr. Tariq Chaudhari who made it a point to place the guests first. Cleanliness: It must have been a feat to keep the place so spotlessly clean! The rooms were large, comfortable, plenty of storage, the linen was changed every day, and the toilets/showers were always clean. It was the middle of the monsoon season and typically Mumbai is rather mucky - folks track dirt into the hotel. Still they kept it constantly under the mop. There was a bedside control for the lighting in the room, which was a welcome feature. Breakfast: This daily breakfast, included in the cost of the room, was better than we have had in any 5-star hotel in the US. It consisted of a range of north and south Indian fares, an omlette station, a light fare, fruit, ..... and it varied every day. We were there for 18 days and the breakfast sure set us in the right mood to tackle the beauracratic jobs that we had every day. The coffee also was superb. The TV did not work some of the days because of the overcast skies. That was a laundry for guests up on the 8th floor - which made a long stay possible and less expensive. An unusual touch was the jar of QUALITY cookies or the plate of fruit provided in your room each evening. It showed that they cared. On an evening when there were torrential rains and the town was flooded, Mr. Tariq approached my wife for night clothes for their female staff which we provided. We felt that they were like family. I would use this property every time I visit Mumbai in the future. Tariq and crew: Well done
A very good location. Nice clean rooms. Good breakfast with friendly staff. A special thanks to the front office manager Fahad who was very cooperative and made our stay comfortable. I stayed with my wife and we ordered room service quite a few times and food was very good
This is the second time we stayed at g.residency and found everything was well maintained nothing looked shabby and old which is remarkable....right from reservations to check out we had a lovely experience.the General manager Mr tariq is worth mentionable for his courteous approach to clients. Breakfast is fantastic being such a small occupancy hotel and so reasonably priced i think their breakfast is great with all that one can think of and much more. every and any guest looking to stay in bandra this is the place...
The location and the locality of the hotel is just amazing. A well trained and cooperative staff with best maintained property is just the value for money. They provide a good continental breakfast which is just the need to kickstart your day with a healthy diet.
We stayed in this hotel in early June in an one bedroom suite. This is a good option in Bandra given its price point. This is no way an upscale hotel but is reasonably clean and well appointed place. The rooms are adequately (although a bit dated) furnished. The room service was prompt. Wifi network was reasonably fast. Morning breakfast was standard affair. The check-in and out process was hassle free. One complain though - the rooms are far from sound proof. We could hear loud voices from the next room crystal clear.
