Quality Inn2.5 out of 5.0

We checked in late in one of the few rooms available, overall it was "ok".. its definitely an older Quality Inn and shows its age. Parking was limited to one side of the building from what I could tell, it's kind of dodgy at night. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways approaching our room so they may still have smoking rooms. The beds were insanely firm which made it hard for me to sleep. The AC unit cycled all night long and made a ton of noise as it pushed through a cooling cycle then a fan cycle. In the morning we found out there were no shower curtains so I just tossed extra towels on the floor. The breakfast was pretty weak, with the standard sausages (which were not edible) / powdered scrambled eggs / waffle maker and assorted breads. I was able to down an english muffin and scrambled eggs, I was told the waffles were good. The staff was nice on the way in and out so that was good. If I didn't want to continue driving at night I would stay there again... but if I had the time to get to Moses Lake / Pullman I would continue on.
The staff was really nice. Their computer and internet was down, nut still had a good stay. Very clean. Nice location just off Main street. My husband's wheelchair fit perfectly in the door and bonus into the bathroom. We booked a normal room on the ground floor. The breakfast was hot and tasted good.
Rooms are well-kept and clean. A good selection of morning breakfast items, including a waffle maker, rolls, jams and jellies and good coffee. If we ever return to the neighbourhood, we would stay again. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I have stayed there many times. The rooms are not hospital clean, but clean enough. First the bad. I guess if my biggest complaint is how loud the bath exhaust fans are, that they are doing pretty good. But my oh my those bathroom exhaust fans sound like you are running a clothes dryer full of silverware. Apparently when they removed the wallpaper border from around the top of all the walls they opted to just paint over the adhesive residue. Guess they thought no one would notice, they were wrong. The carpets in some of the rooms could use a good cleaning and as is true almost anywhere you stay, the plumbing in the room next door sounds like it is in yiur room. Now the good. It is by far the best choice in town. The beds are in great shape and there are plenty of pillows of varying firmness. The tile bathrooms are nice and the fixtures are relatively new. The water pressure is firm and consistant with no shortage of hot water. (I wish they had hand held shower heads.) They almost always have cookies in the lobby when you arrive. Perhaps the 3 things I appreciate the most are that they are small dog friendly,($20. I believe, its Non refundable) That Jackie is usually at the front desk and is exceptional at her job. And the free breakfast is wonderful. Usually scrambled eggs, (Could be from a carton , but good) sausage links, biscuits, (gotta look under the chaffing trays to finf them) and sausage gravy, only one if those flip over waffle makers, cereals, yogurt, bagels, juice, milk, hot coffee etc. Its fast, hot n good. They use Styrofoam plates, so if you wanna go green, you will have to take your own plate. Rooms here are priced a little high, but when you factor in what you save on breakfast its a good choice. Remember, tip your maid daily.
Made advance reservation online. Check-in at hotel was friendly and efficient. Our room was on 1st floor, room 130. Tidy and clean. Quiet, but every room is likely quiet because this hotel is set back from the street by about a block with a row of other business buildings that front on the street. Room included large size mini-fridge and microwave, as well as ironing board and iron. Breakfast bar includes scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, DIY waffles, 3 different juices, bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea and more.
The receptionist was helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out, and at bed time when my granddaughter asked them if they had cocoa packets. The lobby , room and breakfast room were clean and comfortable. Lots to choose from for breakfast. Would have been nice if there was an elevator.
Our whole family stayed there for a wedding and they were so wonderful in every way. She worked 3-11 on 7/1 the 7-3 the next two days and she was wonderful, but no name tag! Directions, towels, ideas for restaurants, and just wonderful. SHe made our whole family feel at home. Thank you!!
I did not find the Quality Inn when I came in to Othello, so I tried my cars GPS. The only motel it showed was the Best Western. I guessed correctly. The Best Western was converted to a Quality Inn a year ago. Staff were friendly. Hotel seems to have been nicely redone when it became a Quality Inn. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy and more. Coffee was quite decent. Scott would check frequently to make sure everything was stocked and to keep everything looking organized. WiFi worker nicely. Our first night the heat/air conditioner knocked like crazy. I told Scott the next morning and he offered to change rooms but I did not want to move our stuff. When we came back that day, the room was cold so I turned it on thinking I would turn it off at bedtime. It worked perfectly. The next morning Scott asked how it worked. Quiet I said. He said he had checked it out and could not find anything wrong with it. One of those quirks, but I appreciated their quick response to make sure equipment was working. The hotel was rather expensive for similar accomodations we have used in similar type communities the last few weeks. This appears to be the result of its being the only chain motel in town. Moses Lake about 30 miles away has a much greater selection. The motel was quiet. Most of its guests were construction workers. Restaurants in the area are mostly Mexican and Chinese.
The room was nice with new carpet and bathroom furnishings. The beds were nice and firm. Slept very well. The staff is excellent.!!!!!! I found everything about this Inn very nice.. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Let me start by saying the staff was very good. They were helpful in every way possible. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable. So, what's to complain about? Picture a modern hotel with no available electrical outlets. When I say NO available outlets, I mean the alarm clock was just sitting there with no plug available. There was coffee service in the room, with no plug available. I have a CPAP machine I travel with to keep me from dying of Apnea ... right, no plug. There is no plug to charge your computer, or phone, or E-reader, or anything. Ridiculous. Thank goodness all 18 TV stations worked.
