We booked this hotel in hopes of having a weekend getaway by a lake - some sun, water no stress weekend away. After several emails and coupons for there water rentals etc. We discovered the day prior to leaving for this trip that Moses lake had Blue/Green Algae that is toxic to both humans and animals. We went to cancel immediately 6 pm the day before and were told we were too late there policy was 24 hrs before check in ( 3pm). They would not refund my pre payment for the one day. We went as far to request that we pay 50% of that one day as negotiation for the hotels efforts and time with the booking- But no go. You would think that a reputable hotel would want to warn there guests of these potential health risks prior to the stay, and maybe not try and up sell the water activities making people believe that all is fine and there weekend would be full of adventure. Feels like they did everything to avoid someone finding out of these risks to avoid cancellations. Honesty is always the best policy. Needless to say , I sucked up the one night hotel charge of $ 237.00 CAD (Was in Washington State for Toronto, Canada) and cancelled the reservation. Then I got this email to review my stay. I didn't stay, I had to make plans for another hotel where we could enjoy some sun a water and avoid the potential health risks.

Lakeshore Inn is a hidden gem! An older building, but meticulously clean, beautifully landscaped, quiet and private. Located at the end of town, the grounds offer lovely views of the lake. A bbq, fire pit, picnic tables, lawn chairs, and docks are all free to use. We enjoyed relaxing on the lawn under the big fruit trees. The staff even let my boyfriend put up his hammock! We wanted to rent kayaks but chose not to because the lake was quite choppy during our stay. Overall, I’ve never felt more “at home” in a motel and we felt very lucky to have stayed here.

Quick, inexpensive, had all the basics, AND a microwave, fridge, coffee & coffeee pot & HBO. Easy to find, plenty of parking, well lit parking lot. Older hotel, but it was very clean. The shower works fine, the beds aren’t too bad, and there’s plenty of lights, a bathroom fan and outlets for personal devices. The stairs going up to the second floor are a bit sketchy....icy concrete, steep and narrow, so be careful, and use the handrail, and go slowly, they are pretty hazardous actually! The people in the office are very friendly, and helpful. It has a nice little park area between the hotel and the lake, and a decent view, it would be fun in the summer time to come back and use the paddle boats, and the pool.

This is a budget hotel and I think the owners have done a good job selectively upgrading certain areas. For example, the towels, beds and pillows were all nice and new. Nice toiletries as well. You're far more likely to notice these than the TV or outside paint at the end of the day. Staff was pleasant as well and the location is great. If you're into looks, this isn't the place for you, but I felt that it is solid property and would stay here again with no qualms.

Basic rooms with a number of outdoor features to enjoy your stay. Boat ramps, outdoor grills, fire pits, and water sports rentals are available for guests to use. Very easy access to the highway. Short drive into town with a variety of food options.

The attraction was that this place was waterfront for two nights while travelling on business. I would best describe it as a motel that is past its used by date and no attempt is being made to maintain it to even a minimum level if tidiness, cleanliness and maintenance. The first room had a really funky smell, quite awful, like a strong cleaner smell. I arrived quite late. The staff customer service was not welcoming. The shower didn't work at all ! and I couldn't get the TV to work. In the morning I went to the office and explained what the problems were and was told to "come back later and we might be able to move you" - I said "maybe you can refund me the second night and I'll go somewhere else" which prompted them to suddenly find another room. The door to get into this unit was damaged and I had to lift it to even open it. Not secure at all. The tiny shower worked (shower head almost falling off) but the unit had the same awful smell and so many signs of poor maintenance (too many to list). The motel is next to the waterfront but I wouldn't rate the lake. The water quality is poor with a lot of weed and sediment - also a lot of ducks polluting the water - and its infested with jet skis and noisy boats - so not safe to go for a long swim. I have seen others state that you get what you pay for but really..... this is right up there with the worst I have stayed in.

I can honestly say when I reserved this location I knew it wasn't going to be high end or even in the middle. This place has fantastic potential...... however as already stated by other, uneven stairs (lawsuite waiting to happen), single pane windows, AC won't let you go below 68 degrees, no ice machine, freezer needed defrosting so I could freeze some water and NO functioning pool! Also, beds were very firm and pillows lacking in fluff. I wish they would remove the pic of the pool, thought I might get to go swimming after a very long day on the road. The docks are tilting and I would consider unsafe to walk on. I do not like being charged at by the dog. Big shepard and not under voice command. Owner apologized for the dog's behavior. Only saving grace was a fantastic sunset pic.

This was a quaint little place. Right on the water with dock access. Lake views. Nicely landscaped. Helpful and friendly staff. What I loved most about this place was the feel that I was in another place. Very much reminded me of enjoyable stays in Central America

At $150/night, it was expensive, but was the only room left in town. There was some concert going on apparently. But we needed a place to catch a little sleep on a late night drive from Edmonds to Coeur d'Alene, and it did the trick. The place says that it's under new management, though, and I didn't find it to be as dirty as some reviewers have reported. And they have bottled water for guests — a nice touch.

This is an older Inn how ever it is kept up well and the staff are AWESOME. Our room was very clean and they had turned the AC on before our arrival so our room was comfortable. Yes the rooms are a little dated but who cares. they have lake access and both parking lots have security cameras and the grounds are kept up nicely. I definitely recommend this place and plan on staying here again the next time I am in Moses Lake. Thanks for an enjoyable stay :)
