I was here just one night, but it was a great choice... just a few minutes inexpensive taxi into the center of town... room was super clean and comfortable, everything worked fine. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, but it was nice and great food, especially the fresh fruit. I wish they had fresh squeezed orange juice available... Staff were all very friendly, especially Concepcion (spelling?), who very nicely called all the bus companies to get me local bus schedules to/from Mexico City and Taxco. This hotel is actually an amazing value... nice pool area too. There is a 24 hour convenience store on the corner. Enjoy lovely Cuernavaca here.
In the city center this little jewel is such a nice place to stay. The people speak no English but the hospitality and desire to serve is impeccable. We were always able to communicate somehow! The only change that needs to be made in the trip advisor posting is the proximity to historical sites, the hotel is NOT walking distance to the city center, but a short cab ride averaging 45 pesos! Delightful stay though
Stayed here one during my trip to Cuernavaca. Rooms were clean and spacious. Front desk was accommodating to provide roll away bed free of charge. Property is approx 7 mins from Zocolo. There is a outdoor pool, which is a plus.
Used to be in Holiday Inn hotels in business travels I expected something similar to other HI hotels , however this hotel is excellent to expend some days in a relaxing envitonment, thre areas for kids, ropen restaurant with a very friendly service, ingeneral I enjoy my stay
The hotel is centrally located and relatively easy to find. I think it's surprisingly nice for a "regular" Holiday Inn. We were upgraded to a suite, which was extra nice, but I believe the regular rooms are good also. The room was a bit dated, but everything was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked fine. The pool area is very nice, surrounded by a bar and the restaurant. The breakfast was terrific. The full Mexican breakfast offering :-) We will definitely be back.
In my recent visit to this beautiful city in Mexico i happened to stay in Holiday Inn from 17th to 24th Jan. This hotel has all the facilities like Swimming Pool, Gym, Play area, cafeteria, garden place etc. Very courteous responsible staff. Always greets with a nice smile. I could learn few Spanish words like 'Buenos días', etc. Very good place for both family and business stays.
I stayed in Holiday Inn during my business visit to Mexico in January. My room was on second floor which was completely calm and quite. Room service was good and prompt. Breakfast in morning had limited options which i didnt liked much. I believe breakfast was the only negative point of this hotel. Rest all major locations are nearby to this hotel.
A Holiday Inn might not be every one's first choice for a romantic get away or a week.end visit to Cuernavaca, but this Holiday Inn might just surprise you. Don´t expect a luxury room, but the bedding is very comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious and functional. Ask for a room with a view over the pool área (a little more expensive but worth it). Our room (444) had a good work area and a king size bed. We enjoyed a Sunday breakfast-brunch that was included in the room rate and this was spectacular. The waiters were efficient and very friendly. The pool area is not large but is is very nicely designed and children and families all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The hotel offers excellent parking and valet service, and the staff are all pleasant and helpful. The lobby area is not attractive, and recent remodelling efforts have detracted from the overall "look" of the place. But still it's an option offering good value for money.
Very nice hotel with a great venue for the wedding. Rooms comfortable altho slightly small. Great beds. Food in rest was good but not outstanding. Service very good. Great value for the money at this hotel.
For CUERNAVACA, this hotel is one of the nicest. They have very nice grounds and gardens. The staff is friendly, however not excellent. It is probably time for some people skills training. The restaurants are worth visiting, if it is Buffett. The regular menu is very limited and kind of blah. We have held many conferences there in the past, their conference rooms are decent and the staff is pretty sharp on most occasions. The rooms are quiet and nice. Not overly spacious, but nice and comfortable. Have not had any problems with the beds. Over all good location, good people and nice things to walk to if you know what you are looking for.
