Very nice, clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Louiz. He was wonderful. Grounds were beautiful with a lot of birds and flowers. Restaurant food wasn’t great but the staff was very good.

Beautiful views and grounds. Great location and very spacious. Our kids loved the loft space in the rooms and beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant was very good and breakfast included made an easy start to our days.

One night in Monteverde

We arrived late and were received with the same enthusiasm as the first customer of the day. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the property was immaculate. Our breakfast was absolutely amazing! We loved the charm of the hotel and the staff was very accommodating. Close to everything as well.

It was a different experience

When we checked on, the person working the desk spoke to me as if he had an attitude. I did not feel welcomed. The needs were not comfortable and the pillows were flat. At night, it got really cold because there is no heat in the rooms. We tried to reserve the jacuzzi, but was later told that the heater was broken. I was going to plan a proposal while in the jacuzzi, but that fell through. thought about checking out a day earlier.

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, breakfast buffet was good...BUT oh my god the parking near impossible to find if you come in at night. Stayed in 500’s section and took forever to find parking for the area (had to drive to sign that said Art something and then another sign that had name of different hotel and holy cow if you went wrong way and had to reverse to turn around on very narrow gravel road) ... if you don’t have a car or drive in during the day it’s alright.

room was cold! but porch was nice!

we had a glassed in porch which was wonderful - however the weather was VERY cool and windy and there was no heat in the room. There were small ants in the room and on the porch that swarmed any food or sweet thing left out. The room was on the third floor with no elevator - this would be a concern for anyone not able to climb steps easily. Also the uphill/steps from the reception area to the room would be difficult for those who were not in really good shape....
