Relaxing Tuscan vacation

The pictures do not do this property justice. It is even more beautiful in reality. The house itself is set low in the ground so it stays cool but the owners have installed airco in the bedrooms for extra comfort sleeping. The kitchen is fully stocked with every pot/pan/cooking implement you could need. The pool is exceptional. The owners clearly love this property and they love hosting vacationers. You feel it in every corner of this meticulously maintained home. Location is perfect for exploring Tuscany. We were able to see San Gimignano , Poggibonsi, Monterigionni, Firenze, Castellina in Chianti and Siena in a week. Travel hack for Florence, if you have a car, highly recommend parking at Villa Costanza parking and taking the tram into the city. Easy and affordable way to get into the city for a day trip. We would love to return to this property one day soon. Thank you Paola and Gianluca!

Amazing Location & Hospitality

My wife and I both loved this property. The host (Gianni) was responsive to any questions we had. Gianni's parents (Carlo & Paula) live in the adjacent main house and were extremely hospitable. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better location or host/s. We would recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit Tuscany.

Amazing place in the heart of Tuscany

This place exceeded all of our expectations. The host and his family were amazing and very accommodated. Perfect size for two couples. Bedrooms and bathrooms were private. The location was perfect. We were able to take daily trips everywhere in Tuscany between 15 minutes and one hour. The house and pool were even better than the pictures portray. The place came stocked with everything you need For your vacation. If ever back in Tuscany I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property

The property itself was clean, well equipped & the amenities were great. The pool was exceptional & clean. The surrounding garden was immaculate, spacious & included a bbq which we used. A car is a must to explore beautiful Tuscany. The parents of the host live at the back of the property and they were extremely friendly & helpful. A big thank you to Paola & Giancarlo for making our stay extra special. I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely Tuscan hideaway

As a family of 4 with two kids (18 and 17) we had a great stay here. The pool was lovely (and needed with the warm Tuscan weather). We were well located for day trips to Florence and Siena, and enjoyed an amazing meal in the hilltop village of Monteriggioni. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Tuscany that is a bit hidden away, but well equipped and not too far from some lovely places, then I'd recommend this property.

Tuscan getaway

This accommodation is perfectly located to explore Tuscany by car. Easy to get to and easy to access all the major attractions of Tuscany. The accommodation itself was extremely well appointed, clean and with great air conditioning and fabulous pool. And our hosts were warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend it.

Tuscany travels

We had a wonderful stay! Gianni helped us have e-bikes delivered and we spent our days touring the area. It was easy to bike to Chianti, San Gimignano, Siena. There is a grocery store nearby, so we gathered dinner supplies and looked forward to a swim and dinner under the vines by the pool at the end of the day.

Great stay. Paula and Jean Carlo who live on the property were awesome.

Excellent accommodations and great location to explore Chianti region. Paula made us dinner one night and it was excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. We invited them for drinks and snacks one night and we ended up drinking and eating all night with them. List of fun. Place is clean and grounds immaculate and pool is nice.

Our Great Italian Vacation

This was great property for the four of us. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath. The living space and kitchen area were a great place for us to talk and relax. A very clean, beautiful property with a great pool and patio area which we took full advantage of. On our first night it was a real treat to have our very hospitable hosts fix us a delicious Italian dinner. A fun evening with great food and it made the first night easy.

A wonderful place and experience!

The property was very well kept and immaculate. The pool was beautiful and a lovely place to relax during down time. The kitchen was very well appointed. The owners were on site and responsive when you needed them but not invasive of your privacy. Actually it was perfect! I think all four of us enjoyed getting to know our hosts. We wanted our experience in Italy to include getting to know the people. This was possible at this location. We actually felt like we became friends in the 11 days we were there. We really enjoyed the dinner at their home and our trip with them to a festival in a nearby town. I highly recommend this beautiful home for your vacation.

The property was better than the pictures - Gianni’s place was AMAZING! It was exactly the Tuscan getaway we hoping for and it was that and a whole lot more. As a host, Gianni was spectacular! Hidden gem; highly recommended

We had a wonderful week at Casa Rigioni - our wonderful hosts struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us privacy during a very much need break! Casa Rigioni is a hidden gem with lush gardens and a lovely pool. The villa itself is well appointed and spacious. It is a short walk to a great bus route to Monteriggioni, Siena and San Gimignano. Highly recommended!

Perfect Siena/Tuscany VRBO

All four of us who booked with Gianni Becchi are extremely happy with the hosts and with the villa itself. We have absolutely no complaints, and we hope to repeat this booking when we can. Gianni, who we met twice at the property, and his parents Paola and GianCarlo are the ultimate hosts, being heartwarmingly welcoming and providing us with information and tips about what to see, where to go, where to eat, and providing us with insights that as foreign tourists we would never have known. The Villa was perfect for us, and very high quality -- better than the VRBO photos had led us to believe. The house was clean and modern, the pool and gardens immaculate. Plus it was centrally located to where we traveled while in Tuscany for day trips, and only 1.5 hours from the Mediterrean coast. In short, very gracious hosts, perfect accomodations for two couples, and yes -- we would do this again.

This home is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed numerous meals in home and the pool and pool area are so relaxing. The hosts, Gianni, Paula & Giancarlo were so nice and helpful; we especially appreciated their willingness to help us find our way to the store for provisions on our first and last nights. We felt immediately at home. And, the location is perfect for day trips around Tuscany--Pisa, Lucca,Siena, Volterra, etc. Only downside is that it is not walking distance to town or a restaurants or shops, so be sure to make arrangements. We were able to stock up the kitchen and to arrange for drivers for day trips. Won't be a problem if you have a car. Enjoy!

Great home in perfect location.

My wife and I were traveling in Tuscany with my brother and his wife. The home was very clean. We easily located it and we were met by Paula who helped us get checked in. The location of the home allowed us to tour around Tuscany very easily as it is very near the autostrade just outside Siena. We made dinner at the home a couple of times after longer days. There were also some great local restaurants in easy driving distance. Overall, this was a great choice for us.

Evans stay at the Villa

We had a wonderful stay with Gianni’s family. A terrific home cooked Italian meal the night we arrived and they could not have been more helpful during our stay. The accommodations are comfortable and the outdoor space great for adults and kids. We had a terrific time. We bought appetizers and drinks locally and enjoyed good food every night. Beautiful Tuscany! Our stay was just excellent in every way possible. The casa was so charming with everything supplied. Gorgeous 5 burner gas stove along with top of the line fridge, oven and microwave. Giancarlo, Paola and Gianni were amazing hosts, showing us the gorgeous countryside, cafes castles and vineyards. A fantastic trip.

Beautiful property close to all attractions and amenities.

This house is very clean including the pool and garden. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is a good structural barbecue which uses charcoal. You can buy charcoal and starter at the grocery store. We had been in Italy for two weeks already and had lots of good restaurant meals in various cities. It was nice to cook several dinners and eat outside in the garden. Also nice for breakfast and lunches when we weren’t touring. Very secure parking. Also a nice walking road across the highway to enjoy the country and get some exercise.

Lovely spot for a holiday

We feel so fortunate to have found this lovely property! The pool area is gorgeous as are the surrounding gardens. We enjoyed a few meals outdoors in the beautiful setting. The villa is comfortable and cozy. There is nothing within walking distance, and it is pretty much on its own in a bit of a remote area. That was fine for us because we had rented a car for the week and used this as our homebase between day trips. It is easy to get to many cities and towns in Tuscany from this location. The small village of Monterrigioni is quaint and historic, and we loved having dinners there. The hosts are gracious and kind. One note which I wish we knew in advance: there are no basic personal care items provided (dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper beyond the first roll, etc). We would recommend!

A lovely holiday home

This is a two double-bedroom property near to the host’s house. It includes exclusive use of a lovely pool, which is amazing when it is as hot as it was when we visited. The bedrooms are also air-conditioned. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay - and the hosts respond very quickly to any queries. Paola, Giancarlo, Gianni and Greta made us feel very welcome - but otherwise leave you to enjoy the privacy of the property and pool. We had a wonderful evening celebrating our wedding anniversary when Paola made us a lovely Tuscan meal served by candlelight by the pool. The property was near to an industrial unit and there was a little noise, but not of a lovely that was disturbing (unless you expect total silence). There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a few km. Monteriggioni is a very pretty village within a hilltop fortress a short distance away - and is a very pleasant place to visit or have dinner. If you don’t mind doing a bit of driving, then this is a good base to use to visit some of the charming mid-Tuscany medieval towns. We particularly enjoyed San Gimignano, Volterra, Montepulciano and (our particular favourite, Pienza). Driving among the vineyards you see some gorgeous scenery, and the Italian drivers are not so scary! (If you see one coming towards you a polite toot helps them look up from their phone and move over to the correct side of the road!). In summary we thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and the hosts are lovely people
