The hotel location is such an amazing place to stay. We reached late and couldn't explore much but the hotel is beautiful with huge rooms and the dinner and breakfast experience was very nice. The location is ideal
Straight In front of the beach, a big hotel with weird layout and hallways that led to empty rooms and spaces. Very big room with stunning sea view but with useless spaces and less decoration, hairdryer in the room was very dirty and sticky, too many bulb lights were not working. Food was very average not what you'd expect for the hotel category. The service in the restaurant must be improved. This hotel's location is just amazing, near the old town and surrounded by coffeeshops restaurants and walking distance almost to everything in Budva.
Me and me boyfriend stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We really enjoyed our stay in the havala hotel. The room was neat and comfortable, we had a balcony with a nice view and a bathtub. The food was good and varied, and the service was great! There is a very good spa in the hotel that includes two big swimming pools, a sauna and a jacuzzi.
The hotel and room looks nice, the restutant is beutiful with ok food. We hade breakfast and one dinner there (buffé included in the room price). What we did not like was the appeoach from some of the staff. I ordered a Virgin Mohito (non alcoholic) and was very specific it had to be without alcohol. After a while we understood it was with alcohol and mentioned this. They brought us the correct one and really said we needed to pay for both?!? Also, the worst part was that we choose this hotel because of the nice outdoor pool.. it had no water and they say it open 1st of May. If we knew this we would have booked another hotel with a pool that is open. Not so nice when it is 26 degrees and sun... No good feeling with this stay.
In front of the old town and yacht harbour. Very nice hotel. Large suites. 5 star setup. Rstaurant is buffet. Large selection on brakfast and dinner as well. Staff polite. Everything is clean. Worth to visit.
This hotel is perfectly placed on the very outskirts of the old town. We visited in April and to be honest I don't think they were quite ready to accept guests. The outside pool wasn't available to use, which was a Shame as we had a very warm week. Much maintenance was being done around the hotel and its grounds. The indoor pool and spa facilities were available. The rooms are spacious, towels and robes soft and toiletries plenty. They are a little tired in places, not quite what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel, hence the 3 rating. Overall however clean. The breakfast was plenty, tasty and a good selection. Didn't use any of the bars, lots outside the hotel. We would come to the resort and to the hotel at the right price and when all facilities are available to use.
Avala hotel is great place to stay if you have a mid range budget and you are with family. Place provides excellent access to the Old Town Budva. Has a beautiful beach access very close to Ballerina statue in Budva. I would like to specially mention about the staff at the Hotel - Diana,Vadim,Fhilip & marco - extremely helpful staff.Good Luck Guys...
This hotel is lovely the staff are very kindly and helpful particoulary reception department. The hotel is situated close to the old town so nothing is far away from center and a most famous beaches as well as Richard Heads and Mogren beach are pretty close. Nice place ,nice hotel.
We have travelled the world and stayed in many 5 star hotels as well as budget rooms. We read the mixed reviews of Avala and decided as usual to form our own opinion. We booked Avala to spend a nice couple of days over Easter using their Pool and spa during an expected storm. It’s a beautiful hotel and yes although dark we saw this as modern decor. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a sea view and view of the old town. The hotel is perfectly located in Budva. The food was what you would expect for half board with lots of choice but was often cold by the time we wanted to eat. The staff were helpful and professional and the hotel was certainly inline with 4 star. We had a very enjoyable and relaxed 3 days making full use of their pool area although the pool and jacuzzi were too cold to enjoy.
Historical but luxury hotel best located and fantastic view even if you visit it in winter or spring time. Minimal style decoration and large free space available for the guests. Large rooms, large lounges, bars and restaurant. Fantastic swimming pool and spa center.
