Beautiful day. Perfect for coffee near beach. But for service you need to wait literary speaking 45 minutes. Than you get the word coffee in life. This is worst experience in whole life. Price for 2 coffees 5.60€. NEVER NEVER I WILL COME BACK HERE AVOID THIS PLACE IS SUGGESTION FOR EVERYBODY MILA

We had a great time in the hotel and the staff was the most helpful. We booked and cancelled and rebooked the stay about 3 times as we couldn't decide where and when to stay because I was on crutches. Despite booking.com cancelation policy the hotel didn't charge us anything (I called them to verify this). We then turned up a day before we were due to arrive without any reservation and were accommodated very well. We also got an upgrade the following day with lovely views and very spacious room. We found the staff the most helpful and friendly. The indoor and outdoor pools were amazing and I spent there hours. Both pools had stairs in instead of ladder which helps if you are on crutches. The saunas were nice too. My husband loved the private beach area. We opted for half board and thought the food was of very high standards with good selection. This was our first time having to opt for the half board and we didn't regret it. We both are gourmet foodies and we were satisfied. Lastly, the panorama and views are stunning. The dowbside of the hotel is that it's very busy. Despite beung there at the end of September it was packed and some tourists were quite loud or rude. Budva is a very popular destination so if you are looking for a quiet holiday this will not be the place for you.

Great location but poor service and bad food. Luckily you can find lots of restaurants all around. Loved Montenegro but hotel is not the level we would expect. A little personal training would go a long way.

From out side this hotel looks wonderful, when entering it an impression of a high class resort. Rooms are very big, clean and well maintained, service is good and polite. The problem starts in the dining room. Breakfast is ok, when I asked for an omelet the staff told me that I need to pay for it because it's an extra item, at evenings most of the food was cold. Pizza was ice cold. Not much to chose and all most no alternatives. Too bad... I expected more from this place. Stayed with my wife at this hotel for 2 nights. This hotel can be much better.

The location of the hotel is incredible, the view is amazing, the staff is really nice. The rooms were big and clean, the pools of the hotel were amazingly beautiful and the food was varied and delicious!

It is very nice hotel by the sea and by the Old town. They are serving three courses with open buffet. Very helpfull personel. Close to the shoppng areas. Clean. I've stayed in a room with a sea viev. Size of the room is huge! Lots of storage. Very confortable. Highly recommended.

Overall rating of the Avala hotel highly depends in what part of the hotel you are staying. I think that all positive ratings are from guests who get rooms with see view. If you are not lucky, it means that your room has so called mountain view, which means that you will face another building or backyard and your room will be very dark. Moreover, hotel lobby is not bright either and corridors are dark as well. Positive: location is the best in Budva, just in front of hotel is old city, the breakfast area is also nice, but as for breakfast: if you'd like orange juice you should pay 3 Euro! So, feeling are mixed indeed.

We stayed here an october weekend for our company conference. Great stay with very nice rooms and villas. Good food as well! Next time I’ll try harder to find time for training ans poolside relaxation.

This hotel COULD be amazing - there is a fantastic bar which overlooks the sea. There is a small private beach which was delightful. However it is totally spoilt by the dark and dismal interior areas, rooms and bathrooms. The 'intelligent' lighting does not work until you are half way down the corridor - I was honestly scared to walk down the corridor. God help anyone who is partially sighted! It was also scruffy in our room and in the dining room there was some spoilt food wrapped in a tissue which was left there for 2 nights before it got moved. Our room looked out onto a scruffy back yard. When we asked to be moved we were met with eye rolls and the receptionist said they were too full to move us. Very disappointing. Really needs a thorough refurb. Most of the staff were lovely on the plus side! Will have to up its game if it wants to complete with the new hotels that are springing up in this lovely resort.

my stayings at the hotel keep getting better and better. very good choice for organizing an event. the last two ones went very smoothly, even simultaneously, especially thanks to the guys from the events sector. highly recommended!
