The staff was super friendly. Was pet friendly, was our first time traveling with our little pup and was welcome. Enjoyed the pool and the nice balcony of the room. Great location. Would stay here again for sure.
We had a very nice weekend here. The room was very spacious, tastefully decorated & overall comfortable. There were parts of the room & bathroom which could use a little tlc, but for the price we paid for the room, it was fine. The only thing that I could recommend for this motel, is to put coffee pots in the rooms. I was glad there was coffee in the lobby, though. The front desk gentleman, John, could not have been any nicer & accommodating. He was also very knowledgeable of the area, & gave several great recommendations for restaurants.
There was no hot water for the entire time we were there.

Was ok for a short stay. A lot of bugs in the rooms. Bring bug spray. Nothing special. The pool was nice.
This is my third summer at "the Tip" and it never disappoints! The staff is always SO friendly and accommodating. The location is PERFECT for all of the best spot in Montauk, including food and dancing :) I look forward to going back again next year!

I come to Montauk a few weekends for work in the summer and this was definitely the worse place I stayed at. First when we got there the check in desk reeked of cigarettes i could barely breath.The whole apt had ants everywhere including the kitchen and bedrooms. The bedroom tv did not work, they didnt even provide coffee but they had filters nor did the have conditioner. One of the beds had a huge stain on it and they didnt even change it. This was not worth the 650 a night i paid. Will never come back here

It was a great room. The room was clean and ours included a large fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, pans and electric stove.

One night stay - staff is nice and rooms are clean. Walls are a little thin but that is to be expected for an old hotel. Parking is limited. Overall enjoyable one night stay and would come again.
