The Lodge is a nice place right in the pedestrian vIllage. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. The In-room Kitchen was fully equipped. We also had a nice balcony with nice views of the village (third floor). Our only issue was that we stayed two nights and the maid did not come in to clean the room while we were out. Not sure if this was an oversight or if it's their policies. Regardless when we called down to get new towels, they were brought up quickly. Also worth noting that the parking costs 15$/night but you can park for free in a public lot 10 minute walk away if you don't mind leaving your car outside. One last downside: the front desk charged 100$ as a deposit to my credit card and at checkout said i would be reimbursed within 5 days. I have rarely seen hotels do this.... kind of odd.
We have just stayed at this venue for 2 nights - at the height of the Blues Festival. I am certain in winter - ski season, it must be very convenient. Having said that small things make this establishment "Average" - definitely not "Very Good". Others referred to a "newly renovated", that wasn't the case on 3rd floor. The door needed to be fixed, but still was a real challenge through-out the stay. Check-in was horrendously slow - fortunately not too much so for "check-out"! Beds are comfortable and there is a well stocked kitchen. The rooms are not serviced daily.
Stayed one night on June 10. The hotel is situated in a prime location, just steps away from the top of the gondola. The rooms were recently renovated- very cozy, clean decor. Check in and out was very and quick. Highly recommend staying here.
I love the feeling of Le Lodge, close to the slopes and very relaxing for vacation. Do not hear nothing from other rooms. Really nice views and lots of amnesties compared to the other buildings on the site (spa, pool table, pool. Sauna, washer and dryer...)
Beautiful place to visit! Staff are great! especially Sylvie at font desk, she was a pleasure to deal with and always has a smile!! Try the hot tub and sauna! Everything was clean and well kept, definitely would return for future trips and will tell my friends and coworkers to check it out. As a note, smoking is not allowed anywhere near the building, security are rude and disrespectful dealing with this If it weren't for the disrespect from security I would give it 5 stars!
Very nice staff, I went for a ski event. Complementary Tuning tables on ground floor. And ski in ski out access. The room we stayed in was very nice. There was a beautiful view from our room of the amazing village. And there was a parking garage for only 15$ Canadian a night.
Stayed here for 4 nights starting 4/9. Newly renovated and very modern decor, kitchen new and clean. I read other reviews and came prepared with paper goods, dish soap and sponge. We had a 2 bedroom suite, very roomy. Gas fireplace which we loved in the early morning and evenings. The front desk check-in was great with Sylvie, she was friendly and informative. The hotel wasn't crowded because it was late in ski season but just prior to Easter holiday. Hot tubs were empty for us to enjoy, the outdoor one was picturesque! A couple of minutes walk to everything-lifts, shops, bars and restaurants. Laundry room on site to use for C$2.50. We parked at hotel first night for $15 but then switched to free parking at mountain base. You can take the cabriolet from lot 8:30-4:30 pm. It was warm, then rainy so got only one day of skiing in. Housekeeping only came on the 2nd morning. I also expected this from prior reviews. I would prefer if they came every day. But plenty of towels were available from the exercise room/hot tub area when we needed more. Everything throughout the lodge is new and clean. I would come a bit earlier in spring season if skiing was top priority. I recommend this lodge.
We had a 3 nights package that was prepaid so checked into the lodge friday night for 3 nights. After seeing how dirty it was, we left to sleep at our cottage. The only clean area was the updated jacuzzi area. Also no privacy as u could hear the people next door talking and people in the corridor. On our last night we were accomodated by Club Intrawest to stay at their club which was very nice and clean. When checking out before our third night without even staying at the lodge, i told the front desk about the dirtiness of the room and she didn't even say sorry or i will make a note. I honestly don't understand how people pay to stay in such dirty place
I never considered that hotel before cause of the dated look but they recently did nice cosmetic changes and its really welcoming the rooms are nice big and 327 has a great view with nice living space in beatiful bay window area The kitchen is equipped well but if you fancy bring your own pan The bathtub is really convenient accessible by the pool room And the location is right on the spot And one more thing and the most important staff was really welcoming and nice I'm going back
We stayed here with our three year old over March break. I would rate it as decent but would probably stay else where next time. The staff were very nice and the hotel was clean. We stayed in the studio and it was fine. The room was large and clean. There was no dish washer detergent provided which would have been nice. We stayed three nights and house keeping did not come once. We were fine with that but some people may not be. One complaint I had was although it did not snow when we were there a truck was outside our room (which overlooked the parking lot) at 7:00 am moving snow for 30 minutes beeping every time it backed up waking myself and my three year old. The location was just ok. The only way to get to the village is to go through the hotel next door or climb a fairly steep hill then walk across where people are skiing. The internet was quite slow but we were there during a very busy time. The free parking is quite far so we paid $15 a night to park the the garage. The issue with that was the garage was TINY making it difficult to get in/out of spots in our full size car. Also there was not enough spots. There was a time that we literally took the last spot and had to spend 15 minutes getting in as it was between a wall and someone who parked over our line. Also there is no restaurant or even coffee shop so to get a coffee bring k cups or be prepared to walk 5 minutes into the village. For an inexpensive place to stay it's fine but for the same price I would probably stay at the holiday inn that's right in the village.
