We spent two nights here, and have no complaints! The staff members were friendly and helpful, even suggesting places to eat and an excellent tour. The room was clean, comfortable and large! Breakfast was a notch above the standard fare. One thing in particular that I liked was the extra seating area for weekend guests who were looking for coffee/juice and toast/pastries. It freed up a lot of space in the larger dining area! Nice touch!
We stayed here overnight during our drive from Quebec City to Nova Scotia. We were very satisfied with our choice. The staff was great, moved us when we asked to not stay under running children without any hassles. It was quiet, well kept, we felt safe and would recommend to anyone.
The hotel was a typical chain hotel which was clean and comfortable. The room was a decent size and had all of the necessary ammenities. There was a free breakfast with the usual seletion of foods. The staff was very helpful.
We reserved months ahead of time, and the staff at the front desk said they are super busy right until the fall. We were very impressed with the front desk staff who were very courteous and helpful. Our check-in was done quickly and efficiently, considering we were checking in rooms other than our own for a conference. They advised us of a tour group going to be around, and to check with them about the best time to have breakfast before we retired for the evening. That was nice! We are early breakfast eaters anyway, but we did go earlier than the group and it kept things very simple. The breakfast is fine - make your own waffles, a selection of scones, muffins, english muffins, toast, a little fruit (orange, apple), and 2 cold cereals, and make your own oatmeal, along with scrambled eggs and sausage. We did not go hungry and had no complaints. Our room was very quiet - we always get the room across from the pool and there is no people noise at all there. Our room was very clean, and comfortable beds. No complaints at all about our stay here! For the price, it is a very good value.
This was our first time staying at the Quality Inn in Moncton. Overall, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was a great location - close to the highway, but not beside it, so it was quiet. Magnetic Hill was 5 min away, as was highway access. Perfect location. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast didn't have much choice, but it was all fresh and tasty. There were hot and cold options (ie eggs, sausage, and cereal, yogurt, etc). The space was a bit crowded...people trying to maneuver around each other, but it was clean and comfortable. The actual hotel room was larger than expected, and very clean and mostly comfy. The door to the bathroom was weird -- it was at an angle, and it wasn't one door; it was two doors swung together in the middle, and to lock it was just a deadbolt. So weird. Not a complaint per se, but definitely odd. We had a room with two beds...one bed was heavenly, the other bed was broken or something in the middle, which caused you to roll into the middle. It was creaky and shifty, so someone clearly had jumped on it and broken it. There were only three of us though, so two slept in the "heavenly bed", and one in the sloped bed. I really liked having a microwave in the room - it came in handy. The "mini" fridge was bigger than expected too. The pool, on the otherhand, was much smaller than expected; I have never seen a hotel pool this small - or ANY pool, for that matter. It felt "full" with only two families there. It was a perfect temperature though, and my daughter still had fun. I was disappointed the hot tub was broken though, after a long day of driving. I would stay again...I would just make sure our beds weren't broken next time. The service totally outweighed everything else. In fact, the front desk even mailed our daughter's postcards to her grandparents :)
We were excited about checking in to the hotel. Upon arriving in our room it looked good. Upon closer inspection there were a couple things. The door to the bathroom was a bit strange, it was two doors that met in the middle like garden doors and the lock was a sliding dead bolt. If the doors were shut and locked they could still be pulled completely open from the outside as my kids quickly discovered. The blanket which sat across the foot of the bed was dirty on both beds with white stuff on them. Our room had a door which connected to the next room. Our neighbors were early risers and I woke up to hear their entire conversation. So sound proofing wasn't really a thing. The pool is very small. My kids normally stay in the pool for a long time and this time only one went in because there was a Dad and about four other kids in the pool. There really wasn't room for anyone else. We skipped the breakfast because upon arrival in the lobby it was over crowded and most people we saw were eating cereal. I chose the hotel keeping cost in mind and specifically looked for a pool and breakfast. I ended up buying breakfast out and one of my kids went in the pool for about 15 minutes. Not what I thought I was getting for the price I paid.
Spent one evening at the hotel. Clean and comfortable room and very friendly staff. Got in around 9:15 PM. One person at counter and line up of people registering. Very slow but all in all I understood he was only one person. Don't understand why they put so much stress on one person. Felt bad for the gentleman. When I got to the room it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Found the price to be expensive for the age of the place. Did not offer a Veterans discount. That was a negative in my books. All in all a good place to stay.
Quick check in and check out, the front desk solved any problems I had in a timely matter. Breakfast was okay, didn't have much of a variety. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Located next to the New Brunswick casino which is nice.
Typical Quality Inn property. Room was average, clean and looked like it had a face lift recently. Nice Queen bed lots of pillows. Very quite which surprised us since our room overlooked the RV parking lot for the casino next door. Breakfast is what you would expect, and the staff kept it clean and well stocked, which was a challenge as it was a holiday weekend and there were lots of guests. Nice job by those tasked with that job. The Front Desk staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They get 5 stars! Good location off the highway and only 10 minute drive into downtown Moncton. Go see the Tidal Bore.
We at this excellent hotel for three different times as we traveled the east coast of Canada. Staff were very nice. Location very good. Clean and friendly hotel. Swimming pool inside. Rooms were very clean.
