Was attending a conference in Monte Carlo and wanted somewhere that wasn't going to break the bank. This is a clean and comfortable hotel five minutes from Monte Carlo, although it is actually in France. Both bedroom and bathroom were a good size. Bed was comfortable. Three of us arrived at 9.30 and the restaurant was open. The restaurant was full apart from one table. It appeared to be a large party of Italians. We asked for a menu and were told it was 'salmon en croute '. This turned out to be very tasty. We asked about dessert and a mixed plate of cake and tart was brought. We had two bottles of wine, a bottle of water and a coffee. The total bill was €72 which was fantastic value. The hotel is a five minute walk from the station and ten minutes to the main harbour. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Very good hotel with easy access. A nice top roof terrace, where you can spend a pleasant evening at the right time, with deck chairs, tables chairs. The supply is better than average. If you are arriving by car, you can not stop at check-in at the hotel, you should park right at Park La gare, which is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. All attractions can be explored in a pleasant walk from the hotel within 2-3 hours.
Nice small size hotel in Beausoleil. The hotel has very good service , helpful staff and good size rooms. French style breakfast. Easy to find and in walking distance to almost all places in Monaco. By bus from Nice airport get off at place de belgique. Or take the elevator.
The hotel location was fine although if your in a car, parking can be a challenge. the rooms are smaller than expected, and in need of modenisation, there was an hole in the ceiling an unsafe broken power socket the floor was water damaged and the door looked like someone had stggled to get out. i'm a small guy but i struggled with the bath. It had a show attachment but no show curtain. The management greeted me on arrival and directeded me to my room. i enquired do they have a bar the answer was yes but only until 10.00pm. every time i went to the bar there was a chair blocking the entrance, I never got a beer. if all your looking for is somewhere to rest you head then it would be fine just don't expect service.
Clean, small, no view. Our view was s bathroom and wall, it was what it was. Nothing special. You had to ask for tea making facility and hair dryer. Would have been nice to have been told about the bus service and info on Monaco but nothing was forthcoming.
I booked in this hotel just to put our baggages and change clothes to attend a wedding ( from 12.30 pm till 5 am ) . The receptionist was talking from behind the counter while his sitting didn't even helped with our baggages Internet bad in room we couldn't communicate with others unless u go outside and stand by the elevator
Hotel with the perfect location! -About 5 min walk steep hill up from trainstation/ bus to Larvotto beach and more. Easy acess to the harbour from the station by escalators and elevator. Neutral a little bit boring staff and a badly structured breakfast..you boil your own eggs and make your own toast.(?) But no one understands the system so you end up with someone else grabbing your #food...i would like my breakfast to be done, not make it my self! Rooms ok.a big need of soundproof/ isolation due to you can hear your next door guest sneeze
We got a fantastic deal on this hotel through Expedia where every 3rd night was free! We stayed 8 nights visiting family and friends in Monaco. This hotel is almost right on the border of France and Monaco; so it has a great location. Pros: - Great panoramic views of the city and harbour up on their roof top. - great location. - Great prices. - Clean hotel. - Helpful and multi-lingual staff. - Breakfast is included. - Free wifi. No so good: - Wifi is not good - Small rooms (you get what you pay for). - The "king bed" was two singles put together. - Breakfast didn't taste overly fresh, we didn't go back after the first morning (get a focaccia and pear tart from Costa instead!) - Amenities were only soap and small bottles of shampoo. - This may sound petty but one of the maids had taken some coins from our bedside table, whether they thought it was left as a tip or not, I'm not sure. But the fact something was taken made us feel a bit uneasy after about leaving things out and we checked all our belongings after to see if they were in order. Overall, a pleasant stay for the price we paid!! If you're out exploring all day and only coming back at night to sleep then this is perfect. If you want a pool and more glamorous hotel try the Cafe de Paris instead!
This hotel is fine for a couple of nights, if you want luxury book this is not the hotel but the price reflects that. 10 min walk from the train station (up hill). We were given a room overlooking the harbour with a lovely view. Room was basic but clean and the breakfast was limited but did the job. They allowed us to keep the room longer for no extra cost. The roof terrace had a fabulous view but it didn't look like the pictures, no umbrellas and the furnitute was torn/ripped. For the money the hotel did the job.
We travelled in May just before the Grand Prix. We took the train from Nice. Then travelled up hill on the public escalators. The hotel is situated at the top! We found the staff very helpful and informative nothing was too much trouble. They even contacted the airport for me as I had lost my purse! The room was large with a comfortable bed and had a super shower in the bathroom. The room had a tv, air conditioning and a mini bar which was always kept well stocked by the friendly smiley housekeeper. The hotel was very clean. The hotel has a little bar which is situated next to the reception. Breakfast was plentiful. In the evening the view from the terrace is amazing. We had a lovely weekend. I also collected my purse and all its contents when we returned to the airport. So a big thank you to the hotel staff!
