It is difficult to find reasonably priced hotels in Monaco, so we were happy to find the Adagio. The staff was very friendly, and our room was large, with a separate bedroom from the kitchenette. However, the bedroom was very small, and the bed was one of the most uncomfortable that I've ever slept on (no springs whatsoever). Also, the bathroom set-up was quite odd. There was a bidet in the same room as the shower, but the toilet was located in a separate small room off the main hallway. The balcony could be a nice place to eat breakfast, but it was far too hot outside for us during our stay to enjoy it. It is a close walk to the train station, but it would be very difficult if you had big luggage.

The apartment is close to the railway station and Monte Carlo. It can be accesed on foot. The room is clean and wide enough for a family. There is a kitchen. Very comfortable. The quality of service is also friendly and good.

I stayed at the Aparthotel Monte Cristo with some friends for a weekend and our stay was good. Rooms are comfortable and clean and are really close to the Monte Carlo Casino and rail station. Unluckily the parking is small and it's not easy to find a parking close to the hotel. The breakfast is not that various. We spent for 2 nights in a 5people apartment 488€

I spent two nights and everything was fine, the apartment was pretty big for me, the WiFi works perfectly and it is very well located. Given the price, it is a very good deal for staying in Monaco. You get what you expect in terms of facilities and amazing staff always helping me.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very kind and friendly. Although it was a little far from the city center and you should walk upward a steep path to reach, it was rather agreeable regarding the price.

great apartments within walking distance of everything ( once you find it ) as others have said its quite hard to find but maybe that was down to our naivety but once there everything was brilliant staff were all mega friendly too

Very difficult to get to the hotel with a big suitcase. There is a long flight of stairs up the hotel street and no public lift like to the street below.. You have to go around along a narrow street and walk longer to get to the hotel. They should warn guests about this. Good quality breakfast. Old squeaky futon bed and the front door had a gap, making a constant wind noise so I had to close the hallway door so I could sleep. Other than that the hotel is on a quiet street and the staff was polite and helpful.

Once we found the hotel ( which isn't easy ) , they staff were excellent - talking is through the local map and advising on areas , dining and bars and planning our walking guide etc - the room was clean and beds very comfortable - we didn't eat breakfast so can't comment, I would recommend this good value hotel that central based - but not for anyone that doesn't like a good walk

Highly recommend Adagio city apart hotel. Thought it ideal that if you so chose you had the option of cooking your own evening meal in your own room and all cooking essentials provided. Very good location and easy to get to the marina etc. By way of down 2 flights of steps into the station and by way of lifts and escalators hey presto you are at the marina( well almost) . A leg saver on the way back up. Rooms are spacious and well furnished and breakfast can be had for 11 euros. A very pleasant hotel in a quiet neighbourhood

- Localisation : really great, less than 500m from the train station and bus stops, but just remember that all Monaco is a "rocher" so 500m means a few stairs - even if u can use 1 public elevator to ease part of the way - Parking : a plus, especially in Monaco, but rapidly full - otherwise go to the train station - Room : correct, clean, large enough for 4, well equipped, balcony ok but the street is rather narrow so u can't enjoy much of the view - besides, with the poor sound-proofing you can hear all the people discussing in the street (we were on the 4th floor) - Breakfast : THE WEAK POINT, you can find almost everything (bacon, eggs, continental style, etc) but lobby too small the week-end and not enough people to clean-refill in due time, so really anoying
