Stayed here on trip from Oakland to Zion National Park. Friendly staff, but bathroom in #38 needs attention: water only sugar, coffee OK. Spa was not heated. Don’t know if broken or just saving on heating bills.
Good motel for price. Large room in aging motel that seemed well kept. No frills but I got everything I paid for and a good bed. Restaurant selection was slim in town. Ate in Rosamont where selection seemed better
We called three hours out and we're quoted a price and told that a room would be held. We arrived and I was told that room was sold and I would have to pay a higher price. I said no and the miraculously the room was available! The guy said I took a long time and I explained that we were still in Arizona when we called! The room was disgusting . I have stayed in some pretty awful places, but this was the worst. The bathtub and carpets were disgusting . The fridge was unplugged and there is no ice machine so my food went bad. There were needles in the parking lot. They advertise breakfast but don't offer even coffee. I realize Mojave is just a stopping point and not a destination, but the owners have no intention of even making your stay comfortable. Do not stay here!
The premises seemed clean. Old fixtures in the bathroom, some cracked and split. Remodel would be overdue. Tough to converse with the mgmt. due to language barrier. The train tracks across the street and traffic on the highway adjacent to the premises are a noise factor.
After booking this motel thru Priceline Express Deals, I was a bit skeptical of the quality of motel. Upon our arrival we were met by a pleasant gentleman who promptly checked is in and gave us our room key (room 21). Once in the room we were both taken back by the cleanliness, quality and amenities they had to offer at only $35 per night. Free WiFi cable mini fridge and microwave. Bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet. No noise heard from other rooms or traffic from the busy highway. Didn't use the pool or hot tub but both looked very inviting. Definitely would stay again..
Arrived here and the staff don't speak a word of English and aren't willing to help with anything, the room is substandard, wifi doesn't work, pool is out of service and the staff were trying to get lots of extra charges for things like to borrow a dvd. Wouldn't recommend.
we had to make 300 miles extra due to a flood in the road and we ended up at the end of the day in this little town. Surroundings are not nice and it looks like stop-n-go kind of place. Room was ok and as always, very old. People from staff was ok too but their English was somewhat bad...
I spent one single night at the end of April 2016 at the ABVI Majave. This motel could almost be overall rated as "average" but the fact that the Americas Best Value Inn Value Club Card is not honored and that unlike almost all this chain's motels not even a very basic kind of breakfast is served my rate cannot exceed "poor". For a decent rate I was offered a small room, even for a single guest, located at the second floor. The manager was definitely kind and friendly but he wasn't willing to honor the Value Club Card offering the usual 15% discount stating that the rate shown on the billoboard was already discounted. The room was clean enough, equipped with microwave, fridge and wi fi connection. No use to say that being located very close to the railroad tracks the noise and vibrations might be troblesome, but it should be normally expected. A small pool is available by the parking lot. The greatest disappointment was that only in the morning I discovered no breakfast at all was served. ABVI motels usually offer at least a very basic one. Would I stay at this motel again? I might consider it but I would first check other places. Would I recommend it a friend? Yes but only after being sure there's nothing better in town.
Viktor, the proprietor, was very nice and welcoming. The property's upstairs double queen room was clean and spacious, its bathroom tidy, and very comfortable overall. We only stayed one night so didn't indulge in the swimming pool, however it did look inviting. We didn't have (or notice) breakfast onsite; there may have been coffee at the reception area but we went to Denny's just a few yards away. The parking can get a bit tight if there's a nearby event going on that attracts visitors with large/wide pickup trucks (seemed to be a lot during our stay), but we lucked out. Would definitely visit again next time in the Mojave area! 😀👍🏽
We stayed at the America's Best value Inn at Mojave on a spur-of-the-moment decision (it was right along the highway we were traveling on) and we were very pleased with our stay. The room we were assigned to was large, the bed was comfortable and best of all, the room was spotlessly clean. We didn't expect much, as the price was very attractive, but all in all we were very happy to have stayed there and we will do it again the next time we are in Mojave.
