Property was centrally located near many attractions in downtown. Easy to walk to everything. The hotel itself was very clean and and updated. People working were kind and friendly. The only con and it is a minor one at that is the hotel walls are very thin.

Gorgeous hotel, at the edge of of the sketchy side of downtown with some sketchy activities in the open parking lot. There was parking security but it still felt a bit weird to see from our window that there were people hanging out in the back driveway all night.

This is a very nice hotel. 5 minute walk from the Target Center. The beds were horrible it was like trying to sleep on a church pew.

bad area

the rooms were not sound proofed. The parking lot was shared with a homeless shelter with giant potholes and abandoned vehicles. The ramp across the street blasted music from 6 am to 11 pm that you could clearly hear in your room. There was graffiti on the surrounding buildings and the businesses were all abandoned.

Worst experience I ever had at any stay. Assistant Manager, Orlando, profiled me and then proceeded to get me kicked out of the hotel. His reasoning, it's a private property and they reserve the right to withhold service. Proceeded to call the cops who came and upon hearing how absurd the whole thing was advised me to to file a claim with the BBB. I have contacted Choice Hotels to see if anything comes of that first and will be following up with a claim with the Better Business Bureau. It was a dehumanizing experience - an exhibition of superiority complex from someone that clearly felt small and inferior on the inside. I had booked for a 6 night stay and was only there for 3 nights. The hotel has subpar internet which is not ideal for streaming and so do not have any streaming services available. Asked for utensils, I was told you could not have utensils in your room, it was finally given to my at the bar, but I was accosted by another staff who saw me taking the utensils I had just been given and accosted me. It was a really horrible experience all around.
