the hotel is clean, staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast is one of the best I have had with eggs, grits & oatmeal, cereal, 2 meat selections. area is quiet but you are located 5 mins away from shopping and restaurants.
This was my first visit to Fairfield Inn & Suites in Milledgeville. I arrived at approximately 5:30 PM. I work in government, so I normally complete a hotel/motel tax exempt form at check-in. I passed the form to the front desk clerk, he tossed it aside. He did not provide elevator directions, WiFi login or breakfast times. My room was clean but it was not furnished with towels. Inquired with a young woman in housekeeping who was on the floor. Waited 30 minutes, no towels. I got towels 90 minutes after I got to my room. The drapes in my room were sagging in the middle because they were not hooked. I had to have my final bill adjusted to reflect the meaningless tax exempt form that was provided at check-in. Customer service was very relaxed and somewhat unprofessional. I may know the spill, but I want it given to me as a paying customer.
Seemingly Booked - But Plenty of Rooms! As always Marriott does a fantastic job - but competition is creeping up alongside. Not much to report since this an excellent hotel with beautiful rooms. Only problem we had (if ever) were the pillows. Had a terrible time trying to get them to work with me. Kind of a rotten night's sleep. Otherwise, breakfast was good and did the trick for the morning.
Our stay at this Fairfield Inn in Millidgeville is alway perfect from check-in to check-out. Quiet, clean comfortable rooms at a fair price. The breakfast area offers a variety of foods in a clean, pleasant area. What more can you ask for?!
This is nice property and fairly new. Not sure how old but it is located a little outside the downtown district with plenty of restaurants and a mall in easy driving distance. The employees are nice and engaging.
Typically stay at HIE in Milledgeville, but hotel was closed, with new hotel still under construction. Driving 30 miles wasn't even a consideration. Pleasantly Suprised from staff upon check in, cleanliness, amenities provided, Internet and breakfast choices. Quality of this hotel may have me reconsidering my lodging options going forward.
Second week of a business trip and bearing in mind the hotel in Philadelphia the week before, this felt like luxury. Very warm in Georgia the week i was there and was thankful for the aircon. Hotel nothing special, neither was the breakfast. Disconcerting with many police training officers walking around with guns in the breakfast lounge. Not used to it being English. OK I guess and I suppose i would return
We were going down the antebellum trail and stayed over here, it's a bit out of town but that was not an issue. Very clean, helpful staff reasonable buffet breakfast (included). Only down side was the guest washing machine was not working and they were not sure when it would be fixed.
From the parking lot all the way to the windowsill of your room this hotel is SPOTLESS and in completely good order. Nothing broken, cracked, aged, or faded. No stale odors, no lingering smell of cigarette smoke or odd "someone snuck a pet in" smells. The sheets and towels were not only fresh they were luscious in quality. The bed was a dream of comfort, and the rooms are... well... roomy. No teeny tiny bathroom you have to butter your hips to get into and out of, lovely large shower, lots of space on the vanity, and again, SO clean! The free breakfast was even real food (hey you had to expect that SOMETHING would be cut rate but nope, I had scrambled eggs!) When I return to Milledgeville, the Fairfield will be a part of my stay, you can count on it.
This is a wonderful hotel... clean, good food, nice staff. I'd stay here every time if I could. It's a bit spendy but the Marriott is always worth the extra. Beds are comfy, noise level is perfect and food it hot and good!
