NH Milano's facilities and hospitality are commendable. Located not more than 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and with tram stops just outside the hotel, we found it very well located. Food served at breakfast and lunch was also very nice. I just wished that their double room and bathroom could be bigger and brighter, and if the hotel would also provide more toiletries like a vanity kit.
Hotel is at a convenient location near the Garbaldi train station. Very easy to reach. Room is big but of old design with old furniture. Tile floor may be very cold during the winter. I need to ask for a pair of slippers. Breakfast is great with good variety of food selection. The staff. are also helpful and friendly.
When I originally reserved the room, I had requested for two twins since I was traveling with my mom. Later, my dad was able to join us. After a few back and forth email, for an additional 20 Euros plus 5 for local tax, they are able to assign us a room with an extra bed. The reception area is small but clean. The front desk agent was polite. As we exited the elevator to our floor, I was appalled. The hallway carpet was dirty and stained as so was the hallway wall. The room doors felt old. As we entered, pure disappointment and major disgust to be honest. The closet light did not function. They had an old fashioned radio (the boxy kind) sitting on the table. The lights were dim and not bright. The walls in our room were visibly stained. The extra bed they referred to in the email was a sofa bed. I did not even want to sleep in the sofa bed. The fabric of the sofa had a multitude of nasty stains. After a long traveling day, we wanted to relax before heading back out. We could not. They were doing some kind of construction work either above our room or next door and it was constant banging. The only thing that was decent in our room was the bathroom. The bathroom was a little small but had the necessary amenities. During the stay, the only positive experience was the breakfast. Our hotel room included the breakfast buffet in the morning. They served a variety of juices, special coffee machine, croissants, charcuterie, eggs, bacon, a variety of fruits. Luckily we only stayed for one night. If it wasn’t for a non-refundable reservation, I would have left and gone to a different hotel. Prior to staying at the NH Milano Grand Hotel Verdi, we were at the NH Roma Giustiniano and the NH Firenze. We enjoyed the other hotels. I would not return and I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay at the NH Milano Grand Hotel Verdi.
The hotel has a helpful desk and offers good services It is for sure a good value in Milano it's well located / central, the rooms are very spacious but, to my opinion, it would benefit from a complete renovation of it's rooms furniture and style.
This hotel surprises us! It is located near the Brera neighborhood and in all directions that my husband and I walked from the Grand Verdi we only found excellent restaurants, shops, ice cream shop, etc. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it!
Excellent location, friendly staff and HUGE ROOMS WITH ALL THE amenities needed for a business traveller, it was a great find for a 5 night stay in Milan, for business, Handling of the restaurant could be better (same breakfast offered during our stay), and improve the dining options, as they dont make any effort to invite try the restaurant at night. A place for a dribk? Not at the hotel, but overall very pleased!
Breakfast was really good and most we liked the location of the hotel. It is not far away from the train and bus station and it is possible to reach all sight seeing highlights by feet. Unfortunately our room was very old fashioned...
much traffic and very loud - but many good restaurants and bars. Parkgarage by the hotel. For buisness and citytrip o.k. Metro and Porta Garibaldi very near so that you can go to RHO in 13 Minutes....
The staff at the NM hotel were very polite and multilingual. Check in and check out was painless. Breakfast was largely a choice of sweet pastries with a few hot options. The rooms very spacious and clean. I slept well even though my room faced the street, so i think the room locations don't make too much difference. The hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes from the UniCredit building and 10 mins from two metro stations that will take you into central Milan. Highly recommended if you need a hotel in the district.
We had a very warm and pleasant welcoming! The room we had where quite large which were great with a 2,5 year old child. The bathroom was renovated and very nice! I believe the breakfast is a typical Italian hotel breakfast, basic and very good. We walked to and from the central train station; it takes about 10 -15 minutes to walk when you know the way. One of the best thinks about the Hotels location is that it is not far from Chinatown, which feels like a city in the city, great food and atmosphere. I recommend this Hotel!
