Lovely apartment close to all the sights and easy to get to from Linate airport on the underground. Lots of restaurant bars nearby. Facilities in the apartment were very good and access was simple.

A few minutes walk to Milano Cadorna train station making it traveling to Milano Malpensa Airport very easy. A few nice restaurants in the are for breakfast and other meals.

Pros and cons

First impressions were not good. Had to slug our luggage for a 10 minute walk from the check in point. Very difficult to find as all of the stores in the complex have the exact same address and it is not posted. The lock box wouldn’t open. Had to call and they did it remotely. Once we finally got the keys out, we thought we were finally in - but NO! There are 2 locks and 4 keys. None of the keys fit properly and we had to call them again! My husband and I were so aggravated. After about 10 minutes of playing and jiggling them we finally got 2 different keys to go in. Also, we couldn’t find the cutlery anywhere and had to call them about that. The cutlery drawer is hidden inside one of the drawers. Easy to miss but our fault. Went to wash our hands, no hot water. My husband had to turn on the hot water tank. Very little storage. I was excited to unpack sandals, not much space for things. The bedroom view overlooks the garbage area and you feel like you’re in a fishbowl. On the upside, the area was great for walking most everywhere we wanted to visit. Great restaurants nearby that aren’t tourist traps. Wonderful bakery across the street and 2 great pizza places within a stone’s throw. Also a market about 5 minute walk for essential items to have in the room. Great if you’re wanting a longer term stay.

Very close from the metro station that got us from the airport and 15 min walk to the duomo and the center. The tram is close by to take it around and check the city. Great staff to help. The email communications were so easy to help with washing machine, water heater, late check ins, luggage storage etc.. HIGHLY recommend the apartment. Spacious to fit a family and feel like you're home.

We had to pick up keys at a different location than the apartment, not far a block or two. The apartment was nice, easy to find. It took us a minute to figure out which key was for what, we were handed a bunch of keys. One downside is if you are using the couch as a bed, as we were. The couch is already pulled out and made, which left nowhere to sit and relax. We sat at the kitchen table which was OK, but not as nice as sitting on a comfy couch. It is a bare kitchen, no water (or anything) left for you. My husband wasn't a fan of the water out of the tap, he was the first and only one to drink any. After a day of travel and sightseeing we would have appreciated something to drink. I know we could have brought our own, and we did have some, just not as much as we needed. Beds were comfortable, they gave us a sealed towel pack each. Note no washcloths, if you use them, you might want to pack your own. They had a few books, I looked over the 2011 Italy guidebook and read some interesting facts on some sites we were going to visit the next day. All in all a nice place to stay. Would recommend and use again.

Corso Magenta 32

The place was fantastic. Location, facility wise. But it has lots of mosquitoes I don’t know where it was coming from. Swatted most of them but they keep coming out at night. My face was all filled with bites even covering myself with blanket that I almost couldn’t breathe just to stay away from being bitten.... 4 days since and I still have the bite marks on my face...
