Hotel Pavone3.0 out of 5.0

This is one of those places you care not for other than the convenience and price. It's clean and functional I spent my evening walking and enjoying the summer air of Milan. Room is basic but clean. Toilet and shower follows suit. This is not a stand out place or somewhere you want to spend a longer than functional living but it is convenient and it is clean. Apart from the Pub/club going on somewhere nearby I hope those 2 glasses of vino and one lemoncello are enough to pass out and block out the noise...
Hotel Pavone is very centrally located , & that was the reason i selected this hotel during my Milan holiday . But i could add that the hotel is very nice and quiet . The staff at the reception were warm and friendly and also very helpful coz when i needed to haul up the luggage to the first floor , ( There is no lift ) , the reception guy not only helped but was also courteous to help me get it to my room . The rooms are quite spacious and clean . We were in a quad room as the hotel was fully booked . The main square is a 5-7 min walk and so are a few restaurants , mainly the turkish one which i frequented. The main shopping location , the beunos aires street is a small cab ride away . I definitely recommend this hotel for its location and comfort . 👍
Only location is good. No lift, the room was not really good for the money we paid. thankfully we stayed for 1 night and I paid £103 for triple room without breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel, you can find better hotel with this price.
I like this place! It was neat, clean and typically Italian. It's not a luxury hotel, but I never do much but sleep when I travel in Italy, so what do you really need? My room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I arrived late and night but was greeted warmly and helped with my luggage and a glass of wine (which I asked for). When I woke up in the morning I took a quick walk and was so surprised to see that just a half a block away was a bustling city! My room was so quiet that I had no idea how close I was to stores, etc.
The room was nice but the bathroom (toilet and shower) wasn't clean when we arrived unfortunately. So we were offered to get a different room. The staff was helpful and really nice. The breakfast was really simple but good enough. Great was fresh made espresso:-)
We went there by car from France and there was no parking for the hotel, or near it for that matter. After driving around the block without finding any parking, the concierge advised us to go to a multistory car park further down the street, which was not very convenient for us. No elevators, old hotel. The rooms are gloomy, even though we were only using the rooms to sleep, they were quite depressing. We paid upon checking out but our credit card was charged twice. It took them two months to reimburse us and whenever we called to ask about it, the person spoke no English or French. Which was odd since hotel staff spoke very good English. The only pros are that the staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean.
The hotel si located close to the center but it is extremely expensive and the room is uncomfortably small. For 2 people, we could barely move inside the room and the bathroom. the breakfast was so lousy that we could not even eat: the products were old or looking bad. It was not a proper breakfast. Wifi was ok. Staff OK although he seemed bothered by any question we asked him. Except for the good location, I would not stay at this hotel again!
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it is a perfect location for walking distance to the Duomo about 15 minutes and to the center of shopping at the Galleria...the hotel although alittle "outdated" is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a very good italian restaurant right next door which you receive a discount if you tell them you are staying at Hotel Pavone. The double room which we had was not too big but a comfortable size, but the bathroom is small. The hotel is situated that you have access to all the trams and buses to get around Milan right outside which is very convenient and tickets can be bought in the hotel! Moderatly priced with breakfast included..overall it was a good choice for the location!!
Slightly hidden hotel, location is perfect .. Only stayed for one night, slept well in clean tidy room with wifi .. Staff helpful and friendly, provided a map of the city and recommended shops and places to eat .. Overall I would recommend
We were there for two nights. Two positive points: very clean and close to the Duomo, but it is very depressing and cramped. there was no room between the toilet and the bathroom sink! If you are looking for a place just to sleep, then this is the place for you. Moderately priced. 320 euros for a triple room (breakfast not included)
