Beautiful hotel conveniently located in Milan. A short walk to Duomo di Milano, numerous shopping locations and an abundance of restaurants. Our room was clean, fresh towels daily and slippers left by the bedside for us. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Milan.

The hotel was located about a 10-15 min walk from the Duomo, La Scala and the Galleria and 10 mins from the Brera neighbourhood. The staff at the hotel were helpful and pleasant. The hotel has undergone some refurbishment but not to the floor we were staying on. The public areas were pleasant enough but could do with some modernisation especially given the refurbishment to floors 1-3. Would suggest the hotel is closer to 3 rather than 4 stars at present.

My friend and I booked 2 rooms. I booked through Expedia. She booked through the hotel directly, bc she added onto the trip three weeks before the start date of the trip. When we both checked together, her room is ready and mine was not. They made it very well known that I booked through Expedia and clearly that is not something that they prefer. I know that hotels do not like it when you booked through third parties but unfortunately, Expedia has always given me great rates and other bonuses for booking with them whereas the hotel gave me no extra incentives. If I knew that I would’ve been able to check in early booking through the hotel that may have been an incentive although that’s never a confirmation. But once again when my friend and I checked in at the same time they were very pleasant to her, and they were a little more cold to me. My room was in an old part of the hotel, and it was absolutely fine for the one day that I needed it. It definitely was older. Hers was nice and modern. I did have a better view than her because I was on a higher floor, but I still faced inward to other people‘s homes/offices, so if that is something that bothers you that’s something to think about. For me it was fine. Again, everything in my room was very clean. I did have one more issue with a staff member the next day while trying to check out and request a taxi. The woman was fairly rude. She also would not help me break a 10 for the bellman. I asked her colleague who did graciously.

A friendly and excellent hotel in Milan.

When in Milan we always stay at the Cavour. Its location is perfect for us, the service, breakfast, cleanliness are excellent. the staff is friendly and very helpful.

We appreciated a comfortable bed, hooks in the bathroom, excellent water pressure, night light in bathroom, fun lights in the room, magnifying mirror, walk in closet with enough hangars. We didn’t have a view to speak of but that was not our priority. If I have to find something to complain about it’s that the hard boiled eggs had gooey dripping whites and when I asked for more well done eggs I was told to just keep trying! Also- you must walk up stairs to get to the breakfast. When we come back to Milan (we do often)we will not hesitate to stay here again. (We had an executive level room)

Very convenient for walking into the centre of Milan. Also close to various modes of transport.Good breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff. Lovely large rooms.
