A lovely studio apartment in a great area of Milan, but sadly we had a few issues with our stay - for anyone interested in this property its worth getting in touch with the host as they don't update their Expedia listing.
We booked this expecting beautiful views of the canal from the second floor in the heart of Navigli, but we arrived to no daylight at all because scaffolding had been erected with giant tv billboards projecting into the street. All we could see was the back of tv screens with cables hanging out, no natural light and workers standing directly outside out windows when we woke up after the first night. This may have been taken down now but worth checking with the host as there was no mention of it on the listing when we booked.
There was no wifi on arrival - someone had torn the fibre optic cable out of the wall, but staff were able to replace with a 5G router the following day.
No issues of noise from the street below which people often mention about rentals in Navigli but you may want ear plugs for the air conditioning which is very loud.
For the price it was a clean and stylish apartment, great internal courtyard and we would have been very happy if we had a view.
