Excellent Hotel... nice stay.. nice location. Rooms are good and spacious. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast spread was excellent. Specially for indian travellers.. who can match their taste buds at the live kitchen counter. Well done and keep up the good work.
Stayed here with the family, 2 adult, 2 kids. Took the family room which had two single sofa beds. Got everything you cN expect from a four star, stay was relaxed, breakfast basic with sufficient choice. Subway station is 15 minutes walk or 5-10 Eur by taxi, 9stops or 15 minutes from Duomo by subway. Would definitely stay here again. Friendly staff.
This hotel is in a great location. You can walk outside the door and be steps away from the subway, it's about 50 steps from the front door which is kinda nice. To get to the city center it's about 4 stops away from the hotel. The room was nice but a little tight had to crawl over the bed to get to the other side as my husband was working at the desk. Bathrooms were full size bathrooms which was nice, I always like having a big shower!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would stay at this hotel again on another trip.
On tour with a company and stayed here for one night. Please know that the drive from the Milan Maspensa Airport is long and costly. The area of this hotel is not an exciting one. There is really nothing to do and the drive there was depressing. The food there was a combination of mediocre, dreadful, and enjoyable. The meats, cheese, tomatoes, and bread were delicious. The risotto was okay and mediocre, however it was the best entree. The vegetable pasta, desserts, and chicken were flavorless and dry. Additionally, we heard that the mussels were salty. However, the staff were very professional and nice. They had the room ready well in advance. The room was arranged nicely and included complimentary snacks which were not to be confused with the minibar. The breakfast was actually pretty good as they offered many options. However, the scrambled eggs were clearly poor powdered eggs. I do give credit to them for making an Americanized breakfast though. In conclusion this large hotel may be good for short stays for small parties of people who are willing to make the long trip to the city center of Milan, Italy
As a priority member being told that I could not get fresh towels after the shower flooded the floors all the way to the door is an absolute outrage. And when addressing the same issue 30 minutes later, we are told that they do not understand English 😞
I have been the victim of thief in my room at the Crowne Plaza Milan Malpensa Airport and I have been compensated by the hotel insurance only 40% of the value of the items that were stolen and this after month of chasing. The theft happened on the 29th of August 2016 and I got paid these 40% only on 30th March 2017. The theft was clearly the responsibility of the hotel as apparently several rooms on the same first floor had been broken in at the same time. So you wonder what the hotel security was doing with all the CCTV system that are installed everywhere. My point is that this can happen anywhere, the only difference is how the Hotel is dealing with the case and compensate their customer fairly. And in this case Crown Plaza have been incredibly useless although I had provided all evidences including pictures and receipts of the items that were stolen from my room. Not a Hotel Chain that I will recommend to anyone.
A pretty decent service is about the best part of the deal. The rooms are rather small (certainly if you want to use the desk), and could use a refresh. The lobby area and cafe area look fresh, but the quality of the furniture is average. The restaurant was a complete disappointment, lacking inspiration and good cooking. Prices however are in line with what you would pay in a decent out of major city center business hotel.
No frills hotel with a decent breakfast and barely no additional features. The checkin was uneventful with the staff somewhat bored. The room was pretty spartan but clean. There isn't an iron in the room so you either thing your own or give long enough time for the laundry to go and iron your clothes. Nice view of the area though from the window.
I stayed here several times because of the convenient location between the Linate airport, the A1 motorway and a customer but I just concluded this probably will be the last time. First visits were okay but now you start to notice the stains and scratches. Then you get annoyed that there is no wall socket next to the bed to plug in your phone for the alarm in the morning, you notice that rooms are generally quite small, you want to iron a shirt but the ironing board provided hardly fits the room, at least not close to a socket for your iron. Last but not least the A/C makes quite some noise which does not make me look forward to a good night sleep (tried to find the off-switch, so far without result). Normally it swithes off automatically when you open a window but as these don't open... Next time I will check the alternatives, there are some around the Linate airport, see if things are better there!
I normally book Crowne Plaza as your guaranteed a certain quality. Having just stayed at this hotel I can only report my disappointment as it falls well below the standard I have come to expect.. First off, although the hotel is large and visible from all around, when arriving at night it is very difficult to get to. The entrance is strange as its just off a motorway on ramp. and not very well sign posted. We arrived with our 2 kids at 11pm and were advised that breakfast was an extra 2 euros per person. We checked what the deal was with the kids. The lady checked their passports for their age and after a phone call to someone we were advised they were free. However on check out we were charged for the kids and only found this out after we had paid the bill as the breakdown of the bill was not given to us before payment. We questioned the charge for the children and were told that they had to pay too. Eventually we had their breakfast cost refunded to our card. On the plus side the bedroom themselves were big and clean. They are however VERY tired looking. The carpet and curtains remind me of what my grandmother had in the 1980's. The bathroom was all a vivid Jade colour with laminate door surround de-laminating. The ceiling to the bathroom was a metal grid covered in dust. The bed was very comfortable however and the pillows and bed linens were very good. Did not have a great night sleep though as the traffic noise through the windows was loud, even up on the 11th floor. The breakfast was adequate, but the staff was slow to replace the food and was not up to Crown Plaza standards. I doubt that we will stay there again.
