Crowne Plaza Malpensa Airport

4.0 out of 5.0

Not what you would expect from a Crown Plaza Hotel. We’ve stayed here a few times, and this last stay was not as before. The carpet was very dirty in the room and the bath towels were not white anymore. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport, but the cost is 8 euros per person one way.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere only good for a layover, extremely far from anything interesting. Airport Shuttle is good, restaurants have limited service hours. Room cleanliness was acceptable. I have been in other Crowne Plaza hotels and this is definitely one of the most basic ones with nothing special on it, I even felt that it was abandoned and it was kind of scary.

Well priced.. In the heart of town... Across the street from the main train station... Close to everything you want to see in Turin...

A wonderful last night before heading home from MXP. Staff was great, room was above and beyond. Clean, perfect sheets/pillows, a television that worked. Wonderful bathroom. Highlight was when my wife was showering in hot water, and I wanted to shave, the big mirror had a heated insert that made the steam go away from the center of the mirror so I could shave without having to "wife off" the moisture. Never seen that before!!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone for a one night stay.

A very nice hotel and close to the airport. You can take the airport bus that transfers you to the terminals and parking lots if you want to save money for the hotel shuttle. You will only have to walk like 8 mins. I definitely recommend it although the food prices aren't attractive for what you get. You could eat the same elsewhere for less money but it is really hard to find restaurants nearby. Very comfortable bed.

Very clean, very modern, great and helpful staff. Computers did not work for printing out boarding pass for flight, and there is no wireless for I-Pads, etc.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The BIG problem we had was no hot water in the bathroom. Someone came to fix the problem, but couldn't. We should have been offered a different room!

Hotel is very close to airport in very quiet neighborhood - nothing to do - nowhere to go around hotel

Needing a hotel convenient to Malpensa I booked this hotel. Hotel was fine. Hard to find even with GPS. Courtesy van to airport costs 4€. Great restuarant within walking distance. Relatively quiet for an airport location.

Very clean and comfortable. Located about a 15 minute shuttle ride from terminal 1. Great morning breakfast.

Works well for getting to airport early.Food better than average for dinner and breakfast. Most staff friendly

This hotel worked perfect for us. Shuttle to train station, then train in to Milan. Nice rooms and staff.

This hotel is super convenient to the Malpensa Airport. The room and overall hotel is perfect for an early flight without the need to hastle with Milan's traffic. It's not a place I would recommend if you want to spend a week touring Milan. It's very isolated. I would stay there again to catch an early plane.

We stayed one night (our final night in Italy) before a 10:20 flight the next morning. The staff was welcoming and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The quiet room was the greatest surprise, since it is so close to the airport. We enjoyed a nice meal in the hotel restaurant and slept soundly! The shuttle to the airport was quick and convenient. One word of advice to travelers: review the online shuttle schedule before arriving in Milan to better plan your transfers. The complimentary Wifi is great for emailing or checking flight status- but don't plan to do anything elaborate due to slow speed. This is a great place to get good sleep on either end of a visit to Italy!

Although the hotel is allright for an airport hotel, you do need to take the shuttle to get there. I was there for 24 hours and had o go back to the airport to take the train to the city. This back and forth might be bothersome since the bus goes on 30 minute intervals. Next time I might consider the Sheraton which is in the airport and you can just walk there from the gate or from the train itself.

We chose this hotel to stay at the night before an early flight. The restaurant was only average and quite slow but the room was great and the shuttle service quite prompt!

The hotel is in what appears to be a rural setting near the airport and was unimpressive from the outside but once inside is very nice. The shuttle provided is 5 minutes to/ from the airport. Rooms are small but the beds are super comfortable, nicely decorated and furnished. Bathrooms are larger and have good lighting. Would recommend for anyone needing to be near Malpensa...quiet 24 hrs a day

Hotel check in was well. Rooms were really nice and spaceous. The internet was not working while we were there which was not that well. Kinda frusterating. Also, they have satellite television in the rooms but the channels that they have were not what well for a "next" to airport hotel. I can imagine many Americans staying here and there should be two more American TV channels b/c there really isnt anything to do there b/c of its location. Hotel restaurant was a little too fancy. Food was really good though. Again for its isolated location it needs to be a bit more family friendly. Other than that, it was good.

Hotel was close to airport and very very nice. Roomiest single I stayed in in Italy. Nice, crisp linens and good restaurant. Thanks.

Eventhough it is is close to Airport, there are no regular scheduled shuttle between airport & hotel, there are no eateries or shops in vicinity of hotel. In hotel very limited menu, and hotel's restaurant opens at 7.30 pm, late for non Italian guests.Even with Priority membership they charge over $10 for 1 hr of Internet access. Rooms are clean and well furnished.
