We stayed here as we needed to come late night and take an early train to another city. The rooms are very comfortable and the front desk is very friendly. Overall had a very comfortable stay at this property.
Initially we had a fairly decent night at this place when on our way through Italy to the 2017 Moro GP race in Mugello. We sat at the bar most of the night and when returning to sleep the rooms were fresh and spacious. The trouble started the next morning at breakfast. We noticed most of the food at breakfast was stone cold and most of the containers holding the food were left open to the elements. When asking for fresh food to be put out one of the waitresses simply snapped at us saying "yeah I hear you, 5 minutes" how rude. After all of this the following day, 3 out of the 5 people in my party fell ill with food poisoning making our trip further into Italy extremely difficult. One of our party has had to leave early and is returning to the UK with gastroenteritis. When complaining to the staff at the reception after our dreadful breakfast, we were told to have a nice day. We will be taking this further as it has absolutely ruined out trip. AVOID THE FOOD!!!!
Fine and fair service. Excellent location, very close to the central station and to the metro. Good service and good wifi also. Breakfast was quite bad and they also charged 6€ for that, so that's reason why I'm giving a 4/5-rate.
Booked a single room which had a separate bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet. Room was very clean and had a free safe in the wardrobe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was my only disappointment and really only as the toaster device was so slow to the point of it not really toasting the bread. Bonus of the hotel is that it is very near central station. I just got a two day pass for the metro. Very easy to follow the metro Ⓜ maps. Some noise from the trams could be heard in the room, but I slept fine.
This hotel is located about 5 minutes flat walk from Centrale station, which makes it ideal for late arrivals or early departures. It is better than the many budget hotels around the station, but of course not as grand as the luxury ones. This is reflected in the prices. The hotel is clean, well decorated, and with friendly staff. The bedroom (a standard double) was very small, even for one person. It made if difficult to open a suitcase except on the bed. I would have been frustrated if staying for more than one night. The bathroom however was excellent, well appointed with a good shower and plenty of room. Breakfast is buffet style and fairly standardised. The breakfast buffet bar is far too small to cope comfortably with the number if guests trying to serve themselves at the same time. But the staff at the coffee counter are very helpful. Overall I would stay again on a one night stopover, largely because of the friendliness of the staff, but the hotel seems to have crammed too many rooms into the space available. Not surprising given the convenient location.
The hotel is situated in a excellent location for Milan's main train station and for the Metro to the city. By Metro the Duomo is only 3 stops, approx 10 minutes and the San Siro approx 45mins. The room we had was very clean & very modern and of a good size for a city hotel. The hotel staff we found very helpfull and polite regarding our questions of getting around the city. The only slight down point I would say, which could be easily rectified is that the hot food items at breakfast where cold each morning. The remainder of breakfast was good though. Overall, a very good value hotel for what we paid and would recommend it to others as we would certainly stay here again if we was back in Milan someday.
Clean hotel a few minutes' walk from the main station, refrigerator, friendly service. Breakfast average. Hotel directory in room states breakfast is on 4th floor, Breakfast is on ground floor. Adults will have difficulty with the needlessly complicated WiFi login procedure and the elevators, which have a mind of their own when it comes to deciding whether and in which direction they are going to move. We will stay here again the next time we come to Milan.
We didn't realize it at the time, but one of the best things about this hotel is it's consistently working internet in the rooms. We were not able to get that at all of the hotels and B and B's we stayed in. It was clean and conveniently located.
I had a nice stay at this motel, it caters to the business end of the market but it was a clean, professional and the staff were friendly and very helpful. It is really close to centrale 🚄 station less than 2 minutes. There are not many recreational facilities and the rooms are cozy but overall a really nice place to stay.
This hotel was just alright to me. It's not as modern as what we were accustomed to; however, a friend who lives in Milan thought it more modern than most. We had a huge room but they slid two twin beds together to make a double for us. My husband and I joked that we felt like Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Also, we couldn't find the heat so we froze at night. There's no room service so you'd have to go out for late night eating.
