Lovely hotel with friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Originally thought it was a bit out of town but a very efficient and cheap tram takes you from right outside into the main square of Milan - brilliant
The rooms was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Lovely sheets and towels. Seating area and TV. Excellent bathroom. The hotel is about 25 minutes by tram from the town centre. You might want to swot up a bit on the public transport in the city before you go. It is cheap and frequent, but not totally user friendly. Getting the shuttle back to the airport involves a walk. If you are fit and able to walk, this is a great choice. If you have mobility problems or don't want to walk, budget for taxis. There is a nice little restaurant around the corner and a large shopping centre just a couple of minutes walk away with other eating and coffee options. The staff are very charming and helpful. Breakfast is good.
Great hotel located roughly 25 min tram ride from the centre. All the staff are very friendly and happy to engage in conversation... Rooms are very clean and are of reasonable size, no problems with Wi-Fi and there is an iPhone for personal use during guests stay free of charge. Breakfast is adequate and plentiful, thanks to an amazing team and in particular Louisa. There is a little traffic noise but to be expected as the hotel sits on a main road. Fab shopping centre almost opposite and the supermarket is a must. If using public transport take the number 14 tram from the duomo. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
This hotel is approximately 25 minutes from the centre of Milan and if using public transportation take the number 14 Tram from the duomo, so if the distance is no issue then this is a good value for money place to stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and with free WiFi, there is also a free iPhone for personal use during your stay. Breakfast was reasonable and plentiful served by the most friendly staff in particular Louisa. There is a supermarket opposite which is by far the best I have ever been. All in all a great stay and won’t hesitate to book in the future.. Only one minor negative to mention and that is the noise from the road, so we will take ear plug next time. A big thank you to all the staff .
Really appreciated the helpfulness of the staff in this hotel. The receptionist gave us extremely useful tips about Milan that helped us have a wonderful experience that helped us get the most out of our time. The hotel was well located - just across the road from the tram stop that took us directly into the city centre in about 25 minutes. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely pleasant and displayed excellent customer service. If I'm fortunate enough to get back to Milan I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again
Very nice hotel with beautiful deco and excellent wifi (80!). Perfect room service. Everything is there. Variety of food for breakfast. 20 min to the center by tram. The stop is right in front of the door.
Just spent 2 nights here and I would recommend it. Rooms were lovely as was the breakfast. Although out of the centre of Milan there was a tram stop outside the hotel and the No 14 takes you straight in, no problem. All staff very helpful. Only one issue if you had your window open there was a lot of traffic noise, but that was a personal choice to have it open.
Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, really enjoyed it. Tram outside hotel takes you into Duomo number 14 takes about 20 minutes. Opposite hotel is a shopping mall called Portello which has a fantastic supermarket which has a self service food hall called Risto open until about 10, the food is freshly made and is delicious and very reasonably priced very nice atmosphere. Hotel room was spacious and very comfortable all the staff were outstanding from the ladies in the breakfast room which is on the 5th floor so has good views, to the handy man who came to replace a battery in our room safe within minutes of reporting it. The staff on reception really could not have been more helpful especially Domenico who went to the trouble of finding timetables for trains and airport bus and printing them out for me, and was so helpful when I wanted to get to Lake Como advised which train station to go to and arranged a taxi to get there only cost 8 euro train takes an hour about 16euro return, well worth visiting Como a very pleasant way to spend a day. Also like to mention Marco and Manuel both on reception and could not have been more helpful, I had a great time at this hotel
The hotel was slightly out of Milan however was easy access with tram right outside. The reception sells tram tickets so no problem. It was around 15 min to the centre on the tram, but also enables you to see more. Very easy to get tram back from Milan as they go so regularly. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and had everything we needed. Only difficulty was not being able to get the room temperature down and couldn't open the window for fresh air, otherwise lovely place.
Price and services report is very good! Clean, nice and warm! Not too close to the centre but also not too far. For us was a pleasant experience and if we decide to come again in Milan, we will gladly be back in this hotel.
