AC Hotel Milano by Marriott4.0 out of 5.0

Because of some rather upsetting transportation problems, we arrived late and exhausted both emotionally and physically. When they brought up my reservation it read "1 person ". There were three in my party. What could have become the breaking point in a string of calamities was instantly soothed by a great innkeeper. She got USA larger room with a fold out bed and instantly sent someone up to make the bed. Since then everything has continued to run smoothly in a great hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times for business and find it to be a pretty decent location with good facilities. The first time there was renovations however they have finished and the hotel has opened up. It is quite nice. The gym facilities are quite good and the location to various attractions is also a benefit. The one issue was the elevators which were very slow, especially if you're on one of the high levels.
This AC Hotel has the great location, less than 10 minutes drive from Milan Centrale station and an entrance to the Garibaldi Station is right in front of the hotel. It takes you less than 5 minutes walk to the train platform. There are great restaurants near the hotel with less than 5 minutes walk also. The staff are very helpful, especially Andrea'. We arrived Milan early in the morning after the night train from Paris, Andrea' at the reception went above and beyond to arrange us to check in one of the 2 rooms that we have booked before the standard check in time. So we can refresh ourselves and ready for our adventures in Milan. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This AC hotel is much nicer than the one I stayed at in Bologna. The staff here are welcoming and super nice. It is right next door to a main train station with a (super slow Express train) to MXP airport...takes about 50 mins. Its' a 5 min walk to the station and underground metro. The rooms are fairly big with nice views. Great shower, basic but new and nice. Nothing to complain about at this hotel....comfy bed. You are in a nice new area of Milan and the touristy/ business districts are all close by via walking, metro, tram or taxi. Tons of trams all around. For a good price its worth staying here. There are NO ATM machines at the Giribaldi train station across from the hotel, so get cash if you need to at the airport. There is a bank near the train station, but its not convenient if you have bags.
I stayed at the hotel 3 times this month as the location is very convenient however the room and customer support leaves a lot to be desired. I complained about the AC in the room as the days were becoming quite hot and I was sweating despite the AC at its lowest. They told me they had fixed it only to realise nothing was done, when I asked again I was told the AC is only on during day time and doesn't work at night. This is ridiculous, it is 30 degrees and in a business hotel when most guests are only present during night they switch off the AC. The breakfast is very ordinary, the cheeses are tasteless, pastries don't look fresh , bread is ok but the hot food items are rubbish. The rooms are quite basic and dark, don't even offer slippers ( they have wooden floors ) or bath robe in a standard room. The mattress are cheap types but ok. All in all a very disappointing experience and management don't seem to care.
This hotel is right by the Garibaldi station so it's very convenient for getting around Milan. The staff were very friendly. My stay was covered with my Marriott Rewards points except for one night. That night cost me $200 US. Which is on the high-end and if I wasn't getting the other nights free I doubt I would've stayed here. Because I was using my points I wasn't given free breakfast which was a bit disappointing. Especially being a Gold Elite member. Oh well. I do believe they upgraded my room though. The room is very modern. Quiet, clean. Even though they had some construction going on in the hotel it was never a bother. One thing that did bother me in a way was that I hung the "do not clean" my room sign on the door and yet the staff cleaned it every day anyway. Again it's a great location. Also you can catch the train to the airport at Garibaldi for just 13 Euro (ride takes about an hour.) Pleasant stay.
Stayed here for three nights for a clubbing and shopping experience in Milan. Hotel was beautiful and modern and a 5 minute walk from garibaldi station. Walk from corso coma and shops and night life. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend staying here for a short break.
This is new hotel but room decor is darker side. Apart from that everything is Marriott four star standard👌staff, food , service all good. Oh yes they said their bar and restaurant is under refurbishment as well. I hope its going to great add on to this good hotel. Good location if you want to stay near centre.
everything about this hotel is perfect The staff were approachable, friendly and helpful The hotel was modern, the room was spacious, had all the necessary amenities we had access to high speed internet/wifi which was the fastest I have ever come across The hotel is within walking distance from restaurants, stores and night life. Additionally the train station is less than a 5 minute walk
The hotel is 10 minutes away from the center by a tram or by a taxi. Also, the hotel is modern style and looks good. The service was good. The staff in the front desk are very cooperative and kind people.
