DO YOU LIKE LOCKS THAT DON'T WORK AND BUGS?

The automatic locking on the door did not work. You would never know unless you check it when you leave your room. We left the room for a few hours and didn't check the door after it slammed shut, then when we came back -my grandchild tried the door because she got there first and to our surprise the door opened without the key card. So, we tried it several times to check and it never did lock. Then when they moved us to a new room the bathtub/shower area was so ate up with rust that it looked UNSAFE AND UNSANITARY. Third room had bugs! We didn't finish our stay there. Hotels.com were not very helpful as they could never reach them to approve a refund but they are still listed in their app. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF SLEEPING IN YOUR CAR. LaQuinta down the street is FAR SUPERIOR - not even comparable! The 8 out of 10 star reviews on the Plaza Inn Big Spring are lies or the front desk is creating them!

It is an affordable place to stay, and the staff is friendly. I brought my cat, which was an affordable nightly fee, but my room smelled terribly like dog pee. It also badly needed an upgrade. The immediate area seemed safe with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in driving distance.
