Very nice hotel with a good bathtub. I love to soak in a tub after a long day of driving! Very nice hot breakfast in the morning including eggs, sausage and biscuits
The Hotel put a $$ credit card hold. This normally just disappears after the stay. In this case it was pushed to a completed charge. My statement stated no balance due. When I called the manager, I was told it was sent and to call the CC bank. After a week I had to call and generate a fraud claim to get my credit. This is a very poor policy at best. Way outside the norm. I don't recommend this Hotel.
All the staff members were great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint was that the remote would not control the volume on the tv. The friendly staff immediately tried, but without success, to fix it. They provided an alternate remote that would control the tv but not the programming, enabling me to do what I needed, just using two remotes. I didn't eat the breakfast, but it smelled good and was popular.

My husband stayed here for business. Breakfast isn't until 6:30 am. Now, this may come as a shock, but most people in Big Spring are affiliated with the oil industry - and that starts early.....except Saturday? It was out at 5:30 on a SATURDAY???? Also, his room had a weird smell and no water pressure in the shower.....odd. He usually loves La Quinta's, so this one was definitely as disappointment.
Overall, a good place to stay.
Friendly staff; clean room; bathroom door is warped and doesn’t shut all the way. Toilets are very low to the ground and difficult to get up from. Beautifully decorated room. Nice tv and comfy beds. Well lit parking lot
First room smelled like cigarettes. Second room smelled like urine in restroom. Foul order coming from drain. Noisy people above us all night. But the staff was nice. Breakfast good.

I like that it is pet friendly. I like that all the employees that we have met during our 4 different stays have been very polite, check in-out was quick and easy and they were very accommodating. Coffee was always fresh. The only negative is the terrible breakfast offerings and I guess they can't do much about that since Covid restrictions dictate what they can offer.
I could not believe they wanted $20 for having our pet dog stay with us on this trip, when just a month earlier, pets were free. Other than that, we had a quiet comfortable room and the breakfast was decent.
