This is beautiful large home and my family felt so welcomed. The host was fantastic and even got my kids a special welcome gift upon arrival. We loved staying here! Beautiful home and very comfortable with all sorts of little amenities. We loved sitting outside every morning. The hosts, Vilma and Erasmo, were extremely friendly, and provided all the comforts of home and more. Thanks for the muffins! We went to the Everglades with an idea of what we wanted to do, and our experience was so much better because Vilma gave us information on things to do, where to eat, and how to get around. It was an amazing experience and we will absolutely go back sometime and will choose to stay here again!

Vilma and Erasmo were warm, generous, and helpful hosts. My husband arrived with a cold and Vilma brought us both Airborne. She also had orange-cranberry muffins for our breakfast. The house was very well-stocked with coffee, tea, laundry detergent, and lots of extras like sunscreen, beach towels, sun hats, and coolers. Vilma gave us dinner recommendations. The barbecue place was fantastic. We didn’t get to the Cuban place, but we discovered a great Portuguese restaurant named TUGA. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the morning. The house was a good home base for our ventures into the Everglades and the Keys. We were completely pleased with our stay.

Vilma is a great hostess. She came over and met us when we checked in and came over to say goodbye. We liked the 11a.m. checkout rather than 10 that most places require. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and has plenty of plates, cups, glasses, and flatware( some places do not). The beds were very comfortable, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The location is very close to one of the entrances to the Everglades, and about an hour’s drive to downtown Miami. All in my group would highly recommend Vilma’s house for a very pleasant stay.
