A gem of a hotel just outside of the buzz of downtown Merida! Rooms provide everything you'll need in a home base as you explore the Yucatan. Staff was very polite, helpful and cheerful- you could tell they enjoyed their work. Communal breakfast was a fun chance to meet fellow travelers and interact with staff. I can't recommend the Hotel del Peregrino enough!

Hotel Peregrino is a little boutique hotel in Merida Mx. It is very quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful. They know everything you need to know about the city and it's daily events. Every morning the hotel offers a breakfast with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, toast, and an entree. Everything was wonderful! I will be coming back to Merida and this will be one of my first hotel choices.

Within walking distance of three interesting areas. Near the plaza, lots of great places to eat and things to do. You get to use a pool at a place nearby. Attentive staff.

Not only is the location of this hotel ideal, it's very cute! We were within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. The breakfast served was in a darling little book. You're also allowed to use the kitchen in the book whenever you like. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay there again.

A lot of hard work has gone into this business and you will be assured of a safe, friendly, comfortable place to stay in Merida. It is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in lots!). It is important to understand that this was a house which has been converted to a hotel, so don't expect a hotel. Both of the rooms I stayed in were without windows but as I was not in the room very much I got used to this. Also, the breakfast is very simple, not the large hotel style buffet. It is adequate, but be prepared. The staff speak English and are genuinely kind and helpful. The location is good - close to the southern end of Paseo Montejo and an easy walk to the main square. Merida is totally flat and laid out in a grid-pattern, so walking and getting around is very easy. While it was very convenient to arrange tours through the hotel - Mayan Ecotours - these were pretty average.

Very quiet.. Close to city center, but far enough away to avoid traffic. Very clean in and around city center. Great walking distance from city center. Interesting conversion from a hostel to a hotel. Rooms on lower floor near communal eating (breakfast area) are noisy. Best is an upstairs room. Staff very personable.

I wish I could have given the staff and particually Alexander a 6 as he and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, quaint and charming. We were upstairs which outside there was a shared patio with some tables and chairs which was fantastic for a couple of cervezas before bed. Downstairs there was a shared kitchen where a full breakfast was severed (although we missed it). There is a fridge with water, soda and beer to purchase at a very reasonable price at any time. The whole hotel is very quaint and charming and centrally located making walking to destinations easy. There is a pool about a block and a half away at a hostel which you could use. It is actually a nice walk and a nice pool which even has some hammocks over the water.
