Excellent customer service, friendly staff, and very clean rooms.

The property is undergoing renovations, but the staff does an excellent job of ensuring a first class experience for guests.

So comfortable, loved the fireplace room complete with real wood logs!

Waiters need to tell customers when 20% tip is added automatically to bill ! Not obvious !

I don't want to write a review. I hate Orbitz. It's making it impossible to stop receiving emails. The Stanford Hotel was great.

We recently enjoyed our second stay at the Stanford Park Hotel during a visit to Stanford University for Family Weekend. We were upgraded to a courtyard view room, which I would highly recommend over a standard room (which was dark, below ground level and faced a hill of ivy--if you are at all claustrophobic, avoid the standard room). The doormen and the lady at the front desk were warm and welcoming. Our room was ready when we arrived at 3pm. We had booked a king room for two adults and an 11-year-old. I guess I was assuming there would be a sofa or sofa bed, but there was only a chair. So the first night, my daughter tried to sleep on the chair and ottoman pushed together, which did not work. The second night she slept on the floor and did better. That was my fault, but thought I'd mention it for those of you traveling in a group of three. The room was nicely appointed (thick robes, good toiletries, magnified mirror, regular size hair dryer). Bottled water, granola bars and candy bars are also provided for FREE! My only complaint is that the mattress was not really comfortable, so my back ached each morning, and the staff delivering breakfasts made a lot of noise in the hallway. Otherwise, the stay exceeded our expectations. We also took advantage of the evening wine tasting in the lobby, and the fresh baked cookies, but were not at the hotel for meals. There is ample, convenient parking, and the location cannot be beat. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great place! Will stay every time in town! Wonderful!!

Hotel was comfy. Had a fire place in my room that kept the room warm and cozy. Staff is very friendly and location is great.

This was a beautiful hotel with very nice rooms and clean. I loved the outside restaurant seating area and the firepit lounge areas. Very cozy! Comp cookies and coffee at night, kids loved it. Beds were comfy & loved the snacks that were left each day in room. Will definitely stay again.

The stars all lined up perfectly over our two-night at this impeccable hotel. Elegant, without being presumptuous; classy, without a hint of being gaudy; and attentive service without being pushy! All theses impeccable features of a five-star quality hotel subtly lined up over the weekend. Very impressive! Cookies at night, a great touch to cap the evening...

Great Service, good atmosphere, clean room. Good location.

The entire property is meticulously appointed, with rich stone, wood, and accent lighting throughout. The staff is friendly attentive. The rooms are first rate, clean, and luxurious.

Very nice, very clean. Exceptional service. Kids slept well and I did too.

Dear Laura, Thanks for the amazing review and the incredible amount of detail you provided. I am so glad that you and your family enjoyed themselves. Your tips and information will be undoubtedly useful to your fellow travelers. Please allow me to add two of my own. We do have rooms with sofa beds, a good amount of them in fact. During your next if you ask for a room with one we will do everything we can to meet that request! Also, most people find our beds very comfortable, but if you need it to be a little firmer, we do have bed boards we can place under the mattress for a firmer feel. I hope that all helps and I hope to welcome you back again soon! With Warmest Regards, Pete
