Parking hard to find , Room was very old windows needed cleaning,couldn’t lift up blind as no cord, air conditioning didnt cool room even thought it was on minimum setting,had to phone to get my deposit back after 4 days they blamed a new computer system not a comfortable experience.

The place is pretty shabby overall, definitely needs some renovations and updates. There were 2 lifts but the 4 nights I was there only one seemed to work, to the point that if I called it to go down, it would stop with someone in it going up. This happened so many times. The air con didn’t work at all, which I kind of expected reading other reviews. The bed was on wheels and rolled every time I wanted to sit up to read/watch TV. Two stars for an awesome location and wonderful staff, but that’s about it.

The room was old. No remote for the TV after asking on the day we arrived, also phone not working, we left and still not fixed. Room was not serviced properly, pillows still on the floor. We had the light from the lane way shinning through our window. Would not recommend.

Parking was easy- it is off site though so a walk with luggage, great location especially if attending marvel stadium, air con didn’t work so had to change rooms although staff wanted to just supply a fan, black mould in the bathroom and bedroom. Room wasn’t very clean, found an old book under the bed and room was very dated.

Whilst the hotel itself is a little old and dated the location is SO GOOD! Literally a stones throw away from Southern Cross station - grab the Sky Bus and get the airport easily. The Italian restaurant across from the hotel does a great Amatriciana pasta btw. I was busy working so just wanted a comfy bed for the night and definitely got that - it's basic but does the job and the staff were lovely.

Terrible stay – we left early All three blinds in the room didn’t work, so we reported it to management straight away to avoid being blamed. The bed rolled around when you sat on it, the air conditioner didn’t work and to top it off I cut myself on a broken soap holder in the shower. We ended up checking out early and finding somewhere else to stay. Really disappointing.

The room was clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. The location was perfect with easy access to trains and trams and in walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff were wonderful, especially Angie who arranged a last minute late check out for me. Couldnt fault the place!

Rooms and building were very worn, lifts were dodgy and buttons were held together by sticky tape. The showers do not work correctly, water pressure was a trickle at most and temperatures were either boiling hot or cold. While it is a cheaper option in Melbourne, I wouldn’t go back…

Convenient location close to Southern Cross station and trams.Comfortable room although bathtub could be difficult for people mobility issues(shower is over tub)Staff pleasent and helpful. Nice Italian Restaurant across from hotel.Appears to be a few homeless in the area and I would not walk alone at night.
