Dear Travellers This hotel is very far from melbourne central cbd approx 45min distance from cab. If you can use the train it will be very fair and economical. Breakfast Pathetic. No staff to pick and drop yours luggage. No Staff to hear yours query. No Food., No View. 3 star for the person who is having night duty some mr Chin lu / some Chinese i hop so. Very Prompt service / Behavior / Friendly Person., I had come early in morning 3 am approx to hotel and he give us Vacant room for stay. i Really appreciate this person for this kindness. Salute to his behavior.
Fantastic accommodation great service also excellent staff Good prices as well enjoyable breakfast included in tarriff Opposite main shopping centre bus stops outside of hotel Bathroom facilities are excellent along with the room as well
Blocked our room keys and house keeping took the one from the room. Was a hassle and very weird but we finally got in. Didn't replace the keys because it was our last night so just let us in. Room small and bed uncomfortable. Not many storage options in the rooms. Very aesthetically pleasing rooms but not functional or spacious. Good for last minute though, like us.
The room was poky and the bed was so uncomfortable for 2 people I slept on the floor. The area is less than desirable, out right dingy! Broken bottles in the street everywhere. Will never stay there again, so disappointing.
Good value hotel. Basic rooms, comfortable beds and clean everywhere. Not much more required, right? Wrong. Good atmosphere helps. Food is tasty. Everything worth a try. Disappointed that the wine offered is NOT from Victoria's Yarra Valley. Might seem a silly point to some but seeing as you are staying in the heart of Victoria, It should follow that you drink Victoria? Food value. Not a hotel to be ignored
We stayed a few nights for a family get together. Our room was probably the smallest we've ever encountered The only spot for my suitcase was on the lounge chair, my partner's was on the suitcase rest in the only other tiny bit of room near the bed. This meant to get around the bed, I knocked my leg so many times on the sharp point of the bed base. Bathroom was ok. Bed was ok. Breakfast was just ok. Room was quiet and clean. The airconditioning is obviously governed by the hotel at 16 degrees!!!! Freezing! When we tried to change it, it just went straight back to 16. Slept under the doona despite it being warm days and evenings. No opening windows so there was no choice but to have the aircon on. I doubt we would stay there again, unless they join two rooms together to make a normal size room and give us some control over the aircon!
Opened door to be met by an ironing board propped up against the full length window. Carpet was stained. Buffet breakfast was warm. Bu the time you sit down, breakfast is bearly warm. Management should also look at the doorway behind the reception desk and move the cleaning equipment out of sight of guests at the reception desk.
Whilst unsure about the location which I needed to book for a business meeting, ultimately I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the rooms which were very good. Moreover, the customer service from the front desk was excellent and the breakfast very good indeed. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again.
We booked into the hotel for a one night stay. During the evening there was apparently some problem with the hot water system. We only found out when we tried to shower in the morning. There was no hot water. Then to compound the issue Reception was not able to be contacted by phone. We had to go down and see them to find out what was the problem. All we got was a profuse apology. No solution and no recompense for the inconvenience. Another problem was that the key card system failed to work in our door and in the access from the car-park 19 times out of 20 attempts. Very frustrating. Would we stay there again. No. Recommendation for the Hotel. If a problem develops with something as basic as your hot water system get a technician in to fix it straight away, not the next day.
The rooms are clean, European size, shower is great. Wifi works well. The staff is tremendous, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fine. Everything, you may want, is there and more. Street noise was not a problem. The walls towards the hallways were not soundproof, which isn't a problem unless you want to go to bed early after a long trip. There is a dining possibility here in the hotel, which I haven't tried. The shopping center across the road is very handy. I would stay
