Tiny room was looked over by adjoining building so curtains always closed. No coffee table so food or drink had to be consumed whilst sitting on the bed. No writing paper or pen. Stayed in a recently remodeled apartment where the kitchen and bathroom had been remodeled. However the furniture was still the same prior to the refurbishment and just looks tired. I was very disappointed as this apartment was advertised as a superior 1 bed apartment and one nights accommodation wasn’t cheap. Also I received an invoice after my departure for parking and at no time was I advised that there would be a charge. I’ve stayed previously at the Quest Ivanhoe and never been charged parking. This visit for me was disappointing.

The initial problem was that we were allocated a Studio apartment after booking a one-bedroom superior apartment. This was sorted after the first night and we were very happy to move into a nice one-bedroom apartment. A late-night, loud girls' get-together in a nearby apartment was disappointing but obviously difficult for management to control. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This property cancelled our reservation booked months in advance for F1 Grand Prix weekend in Melbourne at the last minute leaving us scrambling as most hotels were booked. We had to book an alternate hotel at considerably more. Their specious reason was that there were renovations going on. If that was the case they could have told us when we booked this might be the case but they did not. Could this have been a money grab on their part??? I will never stay at a Quest property

Bathroom was very small with no room to hold toiletries. Toilet was not fixed securely to the floor (it actually moved). Towels had dirty marks and shower leaked. Worst Quest we’ve ever stayed at.
