Where do i start: - Check in procedure is annoying, office is in a completely different building, finding parking is even more confusing. - Cheap furnishings/linen and dirty bed! Towels are thin and cheap, some still had hairs over them! Pillows are old, padded out and no support whatsoever, may as well be sleeping on one of the folded up towels. - Mattress was hard, basic and cheap. - Mattress and protector under sheets were DISGUSTING! Gross stains, many many hairs, protector had NEVER been washed it seemed, so many hairs from different people! Gross! - Carpets were cheap, padded out and tattered at some room edges. - Huge hole in plaster board behind bed! Wtf?? Awful! - Gross stains on head board, walls, doors, carpets.. see photos!! - Bath, shower and fittings are all cheap! Tiny shower, water sprays all over the floor, drain doesn't even have a grill! Too bad if you drop an earring or wedding ring!? - Air con was switched off on the main balcony unit, had to call reception to figure out how to use it. - Kitchen sink leaked badly from underneath the tap. Just avoid guys.. stacks more properties out there that are cleaner and more luxurious.. not hard to beat in this case.. :/

Melbourne short stay apartments are in a great location with a good price. Rooms are very spacious and well designed. Great views of etihad stadium. Check in and out was easy and staff are very friendly.

We chose an apartment over a hotel and we were so pleased we did. The apartment was like new with luxury fittings and amenities looked brand new. It was very spacious with everything you needed. The security was excellent and felt very safe there. The only 2 criticisms we have would be the length of time we waited to be served at Reception and the fact that whether you stay 1 night or 5 nights like us the apartment was not serviced at all. It’s the same price for one night or 5 nights but we never had clean bedding or towels or top up tea/ coffee/ milk. We continued our trip in Austrailia and all other apartments service their apartments. Maybe Shortstay apartments might want to reconsider their policy.

I tend to prefer hotels over apartments and areas with some variety. After a long day I checked in and walked back down the road to the correct building. Not hard but a bit different. Check in had an extra warning sheet about disturbing residents- fair enough. 1 bed apartment was pretty dated but ok. I wouldn’t want to stay very long. If you’re staying for leisure and/or a fan of the casino and it’s offerings then I would think these apartments offer a cost effective and well positioned apartment. But neither of those are particularly me...

We purchased two nights off friends after our other accommodation was cancelled with a weeks notice and they could no longer go. Room wasn't ready when we arrived so they advised we would receive a text when room was ready, that never came. Room itself was clean, bedroom was very light (not ideal for a sleep in). The blinds really need to be replaced, pretty damaged and buckled. Bed was comfortable and close to Casino. I wouldn't say it was 4 star. Left something behind in the room, trying to see if they had this was hard work (still haven't heard as they couldn't find me in the system)!

Clean and well appointed these apartments offer you a great opportunity to have a comfortable and central stay in Melbourne CBD. The apartments are roomy and new. The only downfall was noise created against the window at level 31 by the wind. Lastly the lifts were very slow. Outside of this I'd recommend.

We stayed in Melbourne for one week and on advice from others, chose an apartment rather than hotel. Good choice for several reasons.... More space than hotel rooms, the ability to buy in food and have your own breakfast rather than the expensive hotel ones (unless you have breakfast included of course!) Being able to wash and dry your clothes in the provided washer/dryer, a necessity when travelling for a month. It also works out far cheaper than a hotel room. We stayed in Kavanagh Street, on a higher floor. At the moment, the higher floor the better as building work is going ahead directly opposite this block of apartments, but the double glazing on this building does work and blocks out most of the noise. We weren’t affected by the building works at all . Each apartment does have a balcony, but we didn’t use it as there is no furniture and if you open the door you will hear the noise! The bedroom is large, very comfortable bed and so much storage space ....there is also a blackout blind in front of the regular blinds.....we only spotted it day three! Does help as it got light very early. Living room comfortable and good air conditioning. Kitchen well equipped and has all you might need. Shower room is where the washer/dryer is located. Some washing powder provided, thank you. Location perfect for us. Only about a 10 minute walk to the river and plenty of bridges to cross over into the main city. We also walked from here to St Kilda though the park and lake where the Grand Prix is held. They were already setting up for it! Plenty of trams if you don’t want to walk though. Plenty of supermarkets close by and restaurants too. Staff helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. Also, there is a swimming pool and gym which you can use.

The only reason that i'm not giving this the full five stars is they are a little hard to find. But if you persist you will be rewarded with a brilliant apartment. I flew into Melbourne and Uber'd from airport and everywhere else, so cant comment on the parking BUT if you intend to do the same let them know so you don't have to tramp too far with your luggage as they have several buildings and you check in at the one location - 187 City Road

Nice comfortable 2bedroom apartment 3 mins walk from casino and 5-10 mins ( depend where you want to go to in the city) walk into city centre, other tenants are respectful and noise level is 0!! Very secure building with 24 hour security, also with secure parking.

The room size and location was great. Close to the tram line and close to casino and city. For the price you can’t go wrong. They could have done better with maintenance as the dishwasher was leaking but apart from that everything was great.
