Great location near Comedy Theatre.

Champagne on arrival, staff were very friendly and the upgraded rooms looked great. The breakfast buffet was delicious with the made to order omelettes very tasty. Great location if you are going to the theatre - which we did!

This property has zero heating in rooms so be prepared for a chilly to cold stay in winter... My room averaged 20C through a 4 night stay... Otherwise, a fine hotel with a great staff!

Staff friendly and helpful, but seem short staffed. Only room for 4 cars at the front to stop for 2 minutes and drop off, but cars were parked there for ages. Had to drive around the block waiting for someone to assist with Valet parking. It maybe took half an hour to sort out. Staff excuse was the football is on. No different to any other winter Saturday in Melbourne. Rooms are comfortable but bathroom tired, with orange mould and floors not cleaned into the corners. If it wasn’t for the Expedia points I had paying a large chunk, I would have been extremely for a reportedly 5 star hotel. While our stay was mostly pleasant, I am unsure how it’s still rated 5 stars.

Great location in Melbourne CBD. Excellent breakfast buffet. Quo k and easy check in and valet parking service. Super warm pool and spa treating a Melbourne winter. Some facilities in bathroom were poor - shower head was loose and would not stay up making shower inconvenient and had to do a hose shower rather than standing under reflecting poor maintenance and shower screen did not go all way resulting in spillage of water into main bathroom area. Reception staff were asked to provide ice for an injury and agreed to send but beer arrived so concerned that messages to front desk don’t get actioned upon. Not really a 5 star experience. Could do with a renovation to bring it up to true 5 star standard.
