We had a few issues with the property (broken blind wouldn’t close, oven didn’t work, check in process) and we could not get any support.
I emailed directly and through stayz over three days and got no response.
They sent automated emails to check everything was okay, but they don’t check or respond to them.
They use an overseas service to manage the bookings, so they can do nothing to actually help you.
Before we arrived, they asked us three times what time we would arrive. Each time we repeated ourselves with the arrival time. (Again, I can only assume and automated, person-less process) so when we arrived, the place was not ready.
Even then, when they said it would be ready, we still had to wait another hour. They were double-dipping on bookings. The previous guests paid for a late check out and didn’t bother to tell us. We had been up since 3am and travelled most of the day. We had to pay $50 to have our bags held until the room was ready.
It wasn’t until after we checked out that they offered an apology. I’m not really sure they were aware or cared what impact it had.
No compensation offered.
Best to avoid if you want a hassle-free trip!
