The one bedroom looked clean. No issues. Because of the room it got a rating of two. The internet service was horrible! They have it refreshing every 5 minutes and I have to log back in. I think to negate anyone from wanting to stream anything. They don't tell you this, but if you have a guest over they charge 25 dollars. Even if the guest is only going to stay a few minutes. For that reason I don't recommend this hotel. Not worth the price they charge per night.
Average Hotel. Location is good but hotel rooms could be better and cleaner. Bathroom had some issues. Breakfast buffet was really poor. View from top floor restaurant was the best of the stay. Magnetic keys not working. Friendly Staff at front desk.
Best hotel. Have stayed here multiple ocasiones always the best. Definitely recommend. Its walking distance to pretty much everything. Hotel staff are nice and friendly. Rooms are super clean. Although gym could be bigger.
The hotel is very well located near Oviedo shopping center and minutes by car to El Parque Lleras. The room was incredible big, clean and with an amazing view. An on top of that breakfast was included, great value for money.
The hotel is located in El Poblado area, the check-in and out processes are so slow. The room was big and nice but I hate the contrast of being in a modern room with a great view and have plastic cups for drinking water. The breakfast was included but I do not like the second day I prefered to walk to a Mcdonalds a couple of blocks from the hotel. The hotel is located in the Strade gastronomic mall, so there are option for have a great food or you can take an Uber or a taxi to Parque Lleras where you can find lots of restaurants and bars. The A/C was so noisy that I have to turned it off when having a conference call. The fitness room only have 2 thread mills and two ellipticals and that was it.
Near malls, restaurants, and the Parque Llegas entertainment district, this heart-of-the-city business hotel features roof top fresh air breakfast, security elevator access, clean fresh suites, spacious, a mini-fridge with reasonably priced snacks and drinks; everything the traveler needs. Highly recommended.
I stayed last week 2 nights at this hotel. It is located in a nice neighborhood BUT it is old and unpleasant. The entry of the hotel is passing store inside an open mall. Room are old with noisy air conditioner. Had to move in the middle of the night room because of the noise. I would not recommend it for resting after a day of work.
Medellin is a warm city also for its weather. Air conditioners of the rooms are so old and make so much noise that you have to turn it off. Then it gets hot then you wake up. A hotel of this category should invest in changing ACs for new silent units
location is great! service was very good ! easy check in and out ! The room was fantastic with great views. with sofa , desk to work on small fridge etc. safe area, walk to everything or just a couple buck cab rides. The only so so was the break fast ! but it had great views. very very good value for your $$
To start positive. The hotel and its facilities were good. Large single beds, good sheets and pillows and the room was clean. The breakfast was also good with a nice view over the city. However, at checkout I was confronted with a much higher price than I thought I had booked through the IHG website (IHG owns Holiday Inn). The rate for a double room shown on the website was between 60-70 USD per night. At checkout this proved to be closer to 90-95 USD. It was unclearly stated on the booking website that 75 USD was charged for a second person, strange when your search criteria is for 2 persons, one would expect the displayed rates to be for two persons. In addition, 30 USD service fee, and 30 USD taxes. I am fine with paying taxes, but a 30 USD service fee is a bit of a surprise. I expressed my dissatisfaction at checkout and filed a complaint by filling out a form. The hotel would call me back the next day, they didn't. I called several times without a satisfying answer. In the end the general manager offered me and upgrade the next time I visit and a VIP treatment. Well, the chances someone from the Netherlands comes back to Medellin soon for a holiday is not that big. All in all, I am very unsatisfied with how the complaint was handled. I think the IHG booking website is very misleading. Why not show the total for a double room for two persons clearly, without adding all kinds of extra costs beneath the line.
