Dirty sheets and towels, old worn out furniture, REALLY wobbly ceiling fan. Don't be surprised if you book this hotel and your room looks NOTHING like the photos online! We chose this as a timeshare exchange and had an oceanfront junior suite that was in dire need of a renovation. We couldn't use our patio, as there was no patio furniture. Weeks filled the space between the patio and pool. The lounge chairs around the pool were covered in bird poop, the hot tub was full of scum, and the pool was less than sparkling. We left after ONE night. The manager offered to put us in a renovated room, but we chose to leave since we should have been put in a nice room to begin with! We reported this to Interval International and RCI, both of which we are members. Really, one of the worst places to stay in Mazatlán. I lived there for 7 years and since moving back to the US, I have visited Mazatlán 11 times in the past 13 months and stayed in 7 different hotels, so I have some basis for comparison. Go somewhere else!
Big mistake, do not stay here you will not sleep, seems to be party central with a lot of noise all night long it is a dive! i would not recommend it to anyone even for a one night stay it its terrible
I went for a presentation to see this resort and what it had to offer. The demo unit was beautiful and spacious. I was impressed with each unit having identical amenities and they offered two options to stay. either a hotel style room or a fully equipped apartment with kitchen, living room and bathroom. I had a breakfast and toured the whole resort ground. They were beaufiful and the breakfast food was great.
Torrenza Mazatlan presents itself as a luxury boutique hotel. In fact, it is mediocre by American standards. On our first night we arrived to a relatively empty hotel. We were shown to an interior Masters Suite with no view. We requested a room overlooking the water. We were shown a Junior Suite overlooking the water, but there was no electricity. The next day anther couple checked into the Junior Suite. I'm sure they turned the electricity off to force us to stay in a less sell-able room. In any case, were kept awake by a party till 2 AM and awoken at 7 to loud construction. Our showers were lukewarm.
We picked this hotel as a part of our time share options. The infinity pool was gorgeous at the edge of the property were you can see the ocean...BUT there's no beach were you can walk. Like the other reviews I read, we had so many issues with the hot water, after the 3rd day of constantly complaining they told us that since it was low season they turn off the water heaters so if we wanted to have hot water we should call 5 min in advance so they could turn on the water heater...seriously? Other guests at the pool were complaining about the same water issue. They were 2 blinds missing at the window in our room, we reported this issue until we finally gave up calling to the front desk for hot water and missing blinds. The pool was nice but we decided to jump in the jacuzzi...big mistake, since it was at night we didn't realize the water was yellowish, and when we turn on the bubbles we realized the water was stinky! My swimsuit got stinky and yellowish for days! I had to wash it 4 times! Restaurant wasn't open most of the time so we only used it one time. I think is overpriced for the amenities and bad service we had.
Super dishonest lying scum you won't get your money el bandiidos we have done a few timeshares and they pay .this outfit is horrible .always get your money first or you will never get sit at all when we got there everyone spoke perfect English when we ask why we weren't getting outer 5000 pesos no one. Could speak English. Too bad there isn't an organization you could file a complaint withu
Good service in the recepcion. Excelent price per night, good breakfast, the room was clean and very good size. Swiming pool is in front of the sea. Fabuolus views of the sea.
