Costa De Oro Beach Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

What I really like about the hotel besides the friendliness of the staff is the location. Rincon coffee shop- Marys hamburgers is rite across the street..They also have an Oxoo store which is like an AMP. It is a lot cheaper to go outside and buy than in the hotel. The food I grade as a C. And at nite for live entertainment theres the Cus Cus and the food is pretty good. I had a great time walking on the beach and enjoying the day at the pool! It is a good price compared to other Hotels!

Hotel was very clean staff was a great staff was very very nice!!

The beach location and view is nice. Good view of the ocean. It's far north of the party strip which was fine for my family. The interior of the suite was run down: dilapidated cabinetry, broken lamps, old cookware, crt television, wobbly chairs, etc. The wall between the bathroom shower and sink counter leaked water. Not at all luxurious. The price was low, though, so you get what you pay for.

Stayed here many times and nothing to complain about. Staff and housekeeping are very nice. Some equipment are starting to show it's age, but so am I!

We have been going there every year for nearly 15 years. They have alsways treated us like family every time we return. The staff is very friendly and will work their best to make your stay as pleasent as possible.

Room and hotel were clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a coffee maker (very old) but no coffee or condiments, and there was no access to an ice machine. The toilet was not positioned right because it was VERY close to the wall, and the toilet seat was loose. The doors, bathroom and front, make too much noise when closing them, so you can hear doors being shut all night long. During a few nights, there were very loud people walking around the hotel. One drunk guy started kicking our room door around 2 am, so we called the lobby and they sent security, which took care of the problem that night.

It was a great trip, at first we were a little bit scared because the room smelled like had just been painted, so we ask the front desk if we could change rooms, next thing we know they moved us to this amazing suite with no additional fees, it had ocean view and also was bigger than our initial room. So there is nothing else we can say, they treat us really nice offer us free drinks and stuff, i would recommend a lot to go to the stone island as soon as possible. Cheers

I recommend this hotel very much. Better than the Luna palace by far. But you need to get the kitchen suite over looking the ocean.

I recommend this hotel, nice and clean, excellent service

Everything is great except beds are really hard. Staff is excellent, location is great, pool is very very good. Will stay here again, hopefully bed problem can be fixed.

This hotel had the best view of the ocean and very clean.

We stayed one night here on this trip to fill in the need between two time share weeks with different check in days. The day after checking out we discovered that I'd left my soap container in the shower, Since we were in the area the day after we'd checked out, I checked to see if the maid had reported it. She had found it and saved it in the maid's closet so I got it back. The beds were uncomfortable but everything worked well. The check in and check out procedures went well. Nice location near many good restaurants and convenient to bus service.

Hotel location is great for swimming and goin to the islands. Wifi is a fraud. The kitchinette is handy. Overall, good for a family trip. Staff are very attentive.

Extremely helpful staff, that really came through for us. The room was basic but clean, nice pool and waitstaff. The restaurant was overpriced for the type of food you expect in Mazatlan. Better to get the room with a kitchen or target your restaurants on the town . Overall pretty good.

Our suite was really nice and clean. We enjoyed the pool. Employees were always nice and helpful.

It Was a great location and we enjoy how everybody Was very helpful. The food excelente at the restaurant .

upgraded our room for $10 per night, ocean view with kitchen.best pool service anywhwere...genarro,frankie and lucy!ponhos is the best restaurant!

The hotel was reasonable, clean and spacious. There was always plenty of hot water when taking showers. The restaurant was decent and pool side food service was excellent. Our only complaint was there was no wifi that extended to the rooms. you had to go to the hotel lobby to get wifi.

The staff was great, the rooms are a bit old fashioned, pool was excelent, although a week after a major storm that destroyed part of the beachfront and one of the pools, it was functioning ok.
