After check in, which took a long time, we where unable to go to our room to relax because the doors to our room would not open properly. Maintenance staff was able to fix door issue after 30min. But front desk did not offer any accommodation for the inconvenience. Overall experience was ok

This hotel was honestly a lot better than I expected. To start I didnt realize there was complimentary breakfast every morning and it was a buffet. Very good with an omelet bar. Fresh squeezed juices and not to mention ocean front. I left my stuff in the safe and they were safe, not to mention a few times i forgot and i had the room cleaned and my stuff...still safe. The luxury room was great soo close to the beach..kind of loud but soothing so if you dont mind that then that rooms for you. The pools were clean and my kids loved them. All of the servers fish for that tip so be ready to tip everyone all the time. The drivers the waiters everyone...kind of annoying. I recommend staying here for sure we loved it.

We have had a timeshare at the Inn for 20+ years and love it but I discovered when booking through Orbitz they give you the worst room in the hotel. We arrived a night before our timeshare began so booked one night on Orbitz. Being owners we thought we might snag a good room but not the case. The room was clean, leaking toilet immediately repaired but we were right next to the laundry in the building they are preparing to tear down. We love The Inn and Mazatlan so will continue to go but may not arrive a day early.

The property was conviently located. The staff were incredibly helpful and there were people cleaning all the time. The construction noise wasn’t too terrible but it will be nice when it’s finished.

very close to the beach and to everything else public transportation . food was great. and staff were very helpful.

We have stayed at Inn at Mazatlan many times in the past but this time it was miserable. So much construction going on nonstop noise. I booked my room 7 months in advance and was given a horrible room that no one should have to stay in. The noise was so bad I had to go into the bathroom in order to make a phone call and be able to hear. We asked for a different room within 30 min of check in and were told none available. We asked to leave the hotel and get a full refund—we paid up front for 13 days. We got such a run around to get a refund it took almost 3 days of misarable stay there before getting confirmation we would get a refund. Just know this construction will go on for at least another year or two. If you are a timeshare owner you will get a better location if you are not stay elsewhere. We should have been told about the construction prior to the trip so we could have booked elsewhere. Made the first few days of our trip a pain.

Stayed one night. Currently under a construction project. Great staff and location

We had stayed at this resort before and thought it was nice but this time was very disappointing. First of all they have a major construction project going on with jackhammering all day long right next to the pool area. It would have been nice to know before we chose this hotel that it was going to be under construction. We also had issues with our room...spotty availability of hot water in the shower, our lock on our door stopped working the second day and it took all day to get it resolved. They finally had to replace the entire lock. We don’t plan on ever staying there again.

I have stayed the the Inn many times over the years. The current rebuild is unfair to guests and the noise is terrible. I asked the clerk on check-out about next years prospects and he could only say, " it is what is"...and so it will be. I don't think I will revisit until the construction is completed, however if you can put up with construction noise, the level of service is as good as always. They are really nice folks but progress trumped guest comfort this time.

under constrnoise and construcyionuction--noise ok

Renovation in progress..demolition in progress..Machinery,jack hammers and equipment noise , dust..from early morn to dusk..Hotel staff tried hard to keep area clean but was impossible to make lasting progress..Food good..staff friendly and helpful..Beds uncomfortable...Room need updating..Looking forward to seeing resort when construction done...n

We stayed 2 days in December. the hotel is being renovated. The reception area was closed down and moved the Day we arrived. Our room was beautiful situated on the 10 th floor of the tower. The views were fantastic. However, the noise from the ventilation system from the building adjacent to us made it impossible to sit out on the veranda. My husband brought it to their attention and it was later fixed. Still it was very loud on the veranda due to the aircondionationing units. We did not have hot water the two days we were there. We did bring it to their attention but to no avail. There was a fountain on the walkway to the pools and restaurant which splashed water onto the tiles making it slippery and a falling hazard. Only one elevator was working causing considerable wait time.

Good: beautiful garden and pool area Bad: hotel has too many restrictions, the rooms are full with little aunts, the sofa bed and blankets smelled horrible, and the hotel room was not secure. The beach is nice but not friendly to those with disabilities or those who have a hard time walking. Overall I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff that actually belongs to the hotel is amazing! They always open the door with a smile and are happy to help with anything you need. The valet does take a while, but we were warned about it ahead of time so we planned accordingly. The pool was heated and the restaurant breakfast by the beach was delicious. There are two pools and there is a view and access to the beach. There is construction and renovation going on that can be heard while near the restaurant, but we didn't hear anything while in our room. The rooms are a bit worn out, but it was expected and made up for in cleanliness. What really RUINED our two day stay was the women harassing you to go to a timeshare meeting. They are right by the elevators and will bother you anytime they see you. They claim that it isn't timeshare and try to lure you in with things like free breakfast, aquarium tickets, and bottles of tequila just so they can get your personal information and they can get their commission. I explained to them many times that we were short on time since we were only there for two days, but they would not leave us alone. They also got a hold of our room number and kept calling us, very unprofessional. I would be back to this hotel ONLY if they get rid of those women.

Third time staying there and haven't been disappointed. Can't wait to go back.

The kids enjoyed the pool, the beach and food. We traveled with 6 kids, 2 teens al all had fun.

Confortable rooms...service exelent...and instalations perfects...

Quiet relaxing stay. Close to Gold Zone n short ride into town. Found an amazing water park for kids. Great slides!

My stay at the Inn at Mazatlan was great. I was there for 15 days. The staff was very nice, helpful. I will definitely stay there again. I've stayed in a few hotels in Mazatlán and the Inn was by far the best. If anyone is looking at a place to stay, The Inn in the spot.
