The resort was amazing the staff very friendly lots to do lots to eat and very well maintained. I will return again!

Resort was amazing, beautiful, clean, friendly staff and amazing location. Food was also great as well as Luau. Would highly recommend staying here! The new renovation is awesome.

very nice hotel. Amenities in room were excellent. Only one restaurant with a dinner menu that was not that varied. Food was very expensive. I know restaurants in Hawaii are expensive, but prices were too high

Slow checkin. Just opened the restaurant. Nice addition. Breakfast buffet needs improvements

We stayed during the construction which wasn't bad. A bit costly which I knew in advance. Wifi $18.75 a day, parking $25 a day, Other con was no fridge or coffee maker. Had our morning Pumkin Latte at Starbucks. The shops at Wailia are within walking distance. There's a restaurant that serves a nice breakfast for $5.99! Overall loved our stay!

If you're into shopping, you can just walk across the street to a mall. They have a restaurant in the mall called The Pint and Cork which serves food late; so when we got to the hotel at 1030pm we were able to go over there and eat, which was nice. The hotel staff was amazing. Especially Summer from the pool area. If you want a deal though, book the renovation rate. If you're like us, you're never in your hotel room during the day and they aren't doing work at night, so it doesn't matter. But if you're looking for a nice, put togeher resort, you might want to book else where. It's a short drive to Makena (Big Beach) which we LOVED. Overall, it was a good stay, the renovation was just slightly annoying.

Had a great time here and the staff is super nice. Rooms have really good views. On site food not so great but some restaurants within walking distance. Would totally recommend!

Have stayed here before, love the initial impression, the. Grounds, the lobby the staff. This year the construction made our return very underwhelming and anticlimactic. We had family who were staying in Kinei come join us in the suite, and I was embarrassed as if it were my own home not being presentable for guests. Was a let down.

The views from the resort were awesome. Loved the waelia area! Overall, a mesmerizing place.

Had to pay for parking extra. But this is a very good location. Close to beach. Free photo session but will need to pay for photo book.

We went for our 10 yr anniversary and the staff made our trip amazing!!

The Hotel was under a major repair! We were not told. We had a late flight (11:30pm) We asked for some sort of solution other than a noon check out and they best they would consider was 2:00pm. Everyone I spoke with couldn't care less! They had no care to accommodate us in any way. Their attitude was, that's tough! Will never stay with them again!

Great amenities, we really liked the location. Good & friendly staff.

Great snorkeling, beautiful 5 plus miles walkway along the shore, 5 minute walk to grocery and mall. Try the Pele Lava Flow at Kai, go for breakfast at Mala! If you rent a car go for lunch at Gannon's on the golf course, breathtaking views and delicious meals!

Beautiful place, immaculate, and heavily staffed to meet guests' comfort. Didn't understand the resort fee of 30.00/day for which I got 2 free small bottles of water, and shocked at the 25.00/day parking fee. Oh, and there was tax on both those charges as well..... I would recommend this hotel to a friend after advising of the extra fees.

$30 per day for parking and $25 per day resort fee (wow crazy price make sure you work that into your trip before deciding to stay, I think the grand wailea was about the same price if you take this into account..wish we took that option!), and the hotel is a little old and looks it, it is under modernisation and the designs looked good. room was huge 2 queens, great for us and our child. wifi was hit and miss, usually good in he rooms, but we spent most of the day by the kids pool, very poor signal, a bit annoying when trying to arrange stuff with friends and ordering uber and looking for things to do etc. strange because when walking to andaz hotel, we had wifi all the way into the next resort but not in the Marriott resort! no beach at Marriott, unlike grand wailea and andaz, and you have to hire beds on the beach, again annoying. grand wailea has a great beach, we spet most of our time there. restaurants we ok, breakfast buffet was the usual, we preffered walking to longhi (something like that) in the shopping mall (5 mins walk) much better and same price. kids pool was the seller for us and it was great, our son spent 8-12 hours here daily and he made plenty of friends...went marimotos (spelling?) at andaz and wow, service 5/5 and food 5/5, if you like Japanese fused with itailian...weird but it worked! I said no to recommend but if you have kids It is an option (big rooms and great kids pool)

We booked an ocean view room and it was not available. However, the staff took care of the resort fee and breakfast. We were satisfied with the staff and the amenities. Thanks.

Hotel was in beautiful location. Room was lovely. As far as value for money we were extremely disappointed to find out that even thou we paid close to AUD$400 and a resort fee. This did not included the hire of beach chairs and cabanas that were on the grounds.

This hotel is currently undergoing construction for renovations. It's very difficult to navigate the hotel and it takes considerable extra time to walk around areas blocked off for construction. Hotel staff were somewhat clue less on directing us to our room and there were no signs to guide guests around the areas that were blocked off. Several pools are currently closed for renovations leaving the only one open crowded and loud due to the construction. Overall, the two free mai tais offered at check in were the best part but not enough to not compensate for an overall sour experience.

Great spot. Lovely hotel and good restaurants nearby. Request for two beds not honored at first but problem rectified. Hotel renovations with two pools closed should have been disclosed prior to booking, Still a good time.
