Hands down one of the cleanest places i have ever stayed. Walking in the door you are blown away at how well kept this place is. Stayed there a week and was just in awe. Perfectly located and very quiet. They provide snacks and coffee too

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our weekend getaway at The Knolls Hotel was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, cozy, and inviting. The room was spotless, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable—just like home, only better. We loved how peaceful the atmosphere was, giving us the chance to truly relax and reconnect. The location couldn’t be better, with great restaurants and local spots just minutes away. The Knolls Hotel is a hidden gem—ideal for couples looking for a quiet, romantic escape. We can’t wait to come back!

Room was nice but shower was an issue, as it was tiny and very difficult to control the temperature.

Would stay again

We needed a place to stay as we were traveling through the area and found the knolls on hotels.com. It had great reviews so we decided to give it a shot. We did not realize this when booking on hotels.com, but while this looks like a hotel or motel, it is also similar to an airbnb in the sense that there is no front desk, you communicate with the owner via text, and will need to read and agree to owners rules upon arrival. You will also need to pull the sheets off the bed and take out the trash in accordance with the checkout procedure rules. We had absolutely no problem with the rules, there weren't many and they were easy to follow, just throwing it out there in case there are guests who prefer a hotel style over the airbnb style. We were very pleased with the room, it was extremely clean and comfortable and came with complimentary snacks and waters. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome. There was a restaurant a minute down the road that provided delicious food and drinks (ladder house bar and grill). The property was quiet and the clean and comfortable room provided us with a great stay before we continued our travels in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing

Very poor experience. Super bright outside security flood light swamps the room in light at night. Only cheap blinds on the window so nothing can be done, requiring me to go buy an eye mask. It’s so bright it casts shadows in the room and I could read the time on the wall clock. A/C heater is very loud and cycles on and off all night so bring ear plugs. In the morning I hoped to shower but even after running the water in the shower and sink for 5 minutes there was still no hot water. Bathroom is the size of my RV’s bathroom. There is no closet, ironing board or desk. Only furniture worth mentioning is the bed and one chair. There are 10 pillows on the bed (6 are decorator pillows) and the only place to put them other than on the floor is on the only chair in the room. Guests are required to read a 3 ring binder of rules then send a text message to confirm you agree to them. If you don’t follow all of them there is a $50 fine. Before checkout guests must follow a list which includes bagging all trash then taking it to the end of the driveway and putting it in a trash can. Additionally, guests must strip the bed and put the sheets and any used towels in a hamper. Advertised price was $92 per night but additional fees and taxes take the price to about $150 per night. There is nothing of note nearby so guests must drive everywhere so I will be staying elsewhere next time. I rarely write reviews but this time I felt it was necessary.
