Compared to the price we paid I will rate 3 stars (160 Euro/night). Fairly large Riad. Inside were dominated by large old citrus tree, palms etc. Actually nice, but found some metal cactus sculptures that destroyed the image. (this is off course a subjective experience). The pool is located by itself and as not many guests children in family could play around. We had the suite, with two rooms and own patio. Nice, but coming from other Riad in same price range it could not match. We had asked in advance if they served a glass of red wine and were told possible. Arriving and asking it was suddenly not possible. Could very well be language barrier, but then please say "do not understand". Also had to print boarding card for the flight home and we just got a "no problem" and were told where to go. Still it took us a while to arrange (a couple of annoying hours). A good service would have been that hotel could have printed for us. Or arranged to do so. Would gladly have paid a fee. Otherwise reception helpful and assisted in finding a needed shop. The two experiences cost some on rating as service level and understanding is not super. Hotel could be 4 star, but our family did not get a real positive feeling.
We stayed in this riad just for one night because the day after we went on an excursion in the desert and then when we came back from the desert we wanted to stay near the great square. They were so nice and gentle and they kept for another night the luggage we wouldn’t keep with us during the excursion. By the way, the riad was very nice and our room as well. They prepared us the breakfast early as we asked and it was tasty. Thank you again
Very nice experience from the beginning. The night porter came to our car to pick us, showed the way to riad. When we checked in porter gave us a delicious tea after a long road. We had a family room with connected rooms and terrace. The beds was comfy, showers with warm water and great amenities. We loved the breakfast, they were delicious, big variety and next to pool - great atmosphere. Absolutely amazing and relaxing :) If the riad would not be full, we stayed there for all the vacation! Thank you!
We loved our stay at this Riad. They really made us feel at home. The rooms are beautiful with ornate furniture, ceilings, tiles and fabric, and a comfy bed. We also really enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace in the December sun. Although the Riad doesn’t have a restaurant as such, you can have dinner here if you pre-book. We sat in the courtyard and enjoyed delicious home cooked food. We booked our guided tour to the tanneries and Médina here and also our trip to Ourika. The staff is very helpful and efficient. The Riad is in the kasbah and close to little shops and Cafe Clock. It’s a 15 minute walk to the main square.
Les Jardins d'Henia was an excellent Riad. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi signal was good, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning and any minor issues were resolved promptly. All the personnel was friendly but a special mention must be given to Moassin for his tips and extra attention to detail. Totally recommend!
this Riad is really pretty feeling that you are in your own private house. The team there provides all the info about moving around Marrakesh smiling and solving all of our requests. Great for families with children as well!
The Riad was nice for the price. Normal standard on the interior, not fancy, normal tourist standard. It was cleaner then it looked as the tiles were old. They cleaned every morning. Service was good very nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, with freshly squeezed orange juice, different freshly baked bread, omelett/boiled egg, home made yoghurt, soup, mint tea, coffee. Could be more varied and fruit would be nice. We (2 adults 3 children) had the top floor, very spacious 2 bedrooms, with seating area, 2 bathrooms and with our own rooftop terrace. Located in the Medina around 20 minutes walk from Jema el Fnaa. It was also around 20 minutes walk to the Bahia Palace. Nice rooftop restaurants were only 5-10 minutes walk. We had a nice stay in the riad, not fancy but not bad at all. We had anice
My sister and I shared a room- the food at Les Jardins d'Henia was one of the best meals we had in Morocco, and the pool was lovely on a hot afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and came with rose petals on the bedspread. The rooftop terrace was especially pretty in the evening. We did have a mix-up with getting picked up from the airport, but it was sorted out and we got to the Riad fine.
Wow - what a great stay. Me and me wife were celebrating our marriage with our families. The rooms were very nice with everything you’ll need. The breakfast was amazing but the highlight the cooks in the evening, authentic Moroccan food - much better than some restaurants around the area. We basically had the whole place to ourselves for a couple of days. the roof top and swimming pool was used frequently. The reception was always helpful, the guy behind the desk sorted us tranfers and gave us recommendations. The only negative was we experienced some racist remarks from other guests which did give us some bad vibes for a couple of days but overall the service was great and would highly recommend.
We travelled from Essaouiria where we stayed in a beautiful, family run villa. Having read the reviews, we expected something similar. We arrived with two small children and stayed in a room with a double bed and two smaller beds. The room was ok, if a little dark and rough around the edges. The building itself looks beautiful but we did not feel welcome. The staff were disinterested and unsupportive (when we asked for help and recommendations). The only time they made an effort to interact with us was when they were asking for money. On our final morning, we were informed they had changed the time of our taxi to the airport as they hadn’t got our breakfast ready on time. There are so many other choices in Marrakech. This Riad was a disappointment at the end of what had been a great holiday.
