We stayed at the Meriem for one night as part of a Moroccan tour, and it was horrible. The room was dark and dirty, the bathroom was old and shabby with a very poor shower. The only two power points that we could find were coming away from the wall. The only Wi-Fi was in the public areas, and was very slow. Service at dinner was below par, but was better at breakfast. Food at dinner was generally overcooked, at breakfast, it was mostly breads. Our reality of the Meriem was very different from the photos here. Very disappointing.

Very dissapointed with this hotel. The first room the mattress was in a very poor condition room was dated and the shower was not working properly when I advised them of these issue nothing was done and when I spoke to the receptionist she said it takes a few days to order a new mattress I had to insist then they offered me a different room . Even in the second room there was issues there was a strange smell coming from the drain and the shower was still the same again when I mentioned it to them they said they will have a look but again nothing was done when I complained it seems they didn’t want to listen it was my last day so I just couldn’t wait to get out of this awful hotel. The breakfast was ok but no cereal and no fruits and diluted orange juice when orange trees are in every street also the male receptionist working there are very rude it looks like the owners don’t want to spend money when I looked at other reviews it looks like the same issue seems to be mentioned so staff are aware of these like the shower, poor breakfast and rude male receptionist but nothing is done. I would strongly advice to avoid my relatives were in Marrakech at the same time and they said at Almas Hotel further down and it was much better

Very good hotel . Very clean . All staff are very friendly . Nothing to complain . But when you book i advice only book breakfast. Thé dinner is simple and not so good . For cheap price you can eat more better outside .

The rooms were quite big and had adequate space, but there are a few bad points; the breakfast is not good at all, the one pool that was filled was very cold, the hotel was far from most places and WiFi is very poor. However for the price you pay it is sufficient.

I was at Meriem hotel for 3 days this year. The hotel room are big but I had a problem with cleaning there, most of objects there were sticky although it has been cleaned each day. Window view from street is also not the best, but there is amazing interior garden with swimming pools. The shower was incorporate above bathtub I do not like pretty much this solution but it was always hot water, then I cannot complaint. Beds are comfortable and the rooms can be heated with IC. The breakfast (6:00 am to 10:00 am) I can consider okay, but for European people very poor but at least healthy. However, don't expect a wide variety of choices, what I can recommend it is dinner, served as Swedish table, with various choice, I loved white souse I would eat it all the time and with everything, drinks are not included, the customers need to purchase them separably. The hotel is located in the new city to reach medina you need around 15-18 minutes with taxi, in my case around 50 minutes walk. I can summarise it as a good stay there.

good location, luggage luggage, friendly staff, varied breakfast, clean and welcoming rooms, in-room internet, nice arranged arrangement, fast food and dinner, cosmetics and towels in the bathroom, elevator, smoker's place

Booked this after spending four nights in the mountains, so was looking for a little luxury after basic conditions at the Mouflon refuge on Mount Toubkal. Literally came straight from the mountain to the hotel to be met by a dour faced male receptionist who hardly spoke, wasn’t shown to my room, just pointed to the other building, this seemed to be the norm at reception. Breakfast was okay with the serving staff being friendly and attentive. Room was okay, clean and spacious but lacking any character. It is located in the trendy Gueliz district and close to hotels bars where you can get a (alcoholic drink) , if your reasons for visiting Marrakech is to visit the souks and medina, then this is not the place to stay as you need to constantly get a taxi and the hassle that entails. I had planned to stay a second night after visiting Essaouria, but cancelled and booked alternative accommodation in the old city. I would not recommend this to my friends.

I stayed at hotel meriem for 4 days. I had a really pleasant stay. The hotel room was quite big and clean. They cleaned the room every morning and brought new, clean towels. The shower worked as it should and there was always hot water. Also the beds were really nice to sleep in. The rooms were heated which was nice since I went in january. The staff was friendly and really helpful. They also gave us tips on where to eat and had no problem with printing our boarding passes for our return. The breakfast was okay, I won't complain. However, don't expect a wide variety of choices. The breakfast is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.The hotel is located in the new city. It's a four-minute walk to the train station. With a taxi you're in the old city within less than 15 minutes. You can also walk which is around 30 minutes and easy to find. All with all, I enjoyed my stay and I would recommend hotel meriem. If you are there for the city itself and don't care about luxury and a nice, clean room with comfortable beds and hot water is enough for you, this hotel is definitely something for you. However, if you want a luxurious hotel you should probably look for something else.

Greeted by concierge upon arrival , shown to room , a large room with balcony so was nice to be able to sit outside when we wanted to , breakfast is between 6-10 am so lots of opportunity to have a lay in , or grab breakfast early if booked a trip out , buffet style breakfast as is usual, water in hotel for us was not very hot so this was a big disappointment , other than that pleasant staff , and location good for getting out and about, large shopping centre 10-15 mins walk or quick 2-4 dirhams taxi to big Medina jemaa el fna ,

We were here in Jan 2018. Dark lobby, dated furniture, uncomfortable shower (water eitber cold or hot), towels DIRTY , with spots, bed uncomfortable with terrible pillows. In the canteen (it can't be called restaurant) the table cloths are dirty, the forks and knives oily and dirty. The lightht in the room is very unpleasant, like in hospital, the wals are dirty. Sauna was closed after 8 but having seen that grey towels, there were no desire to use any hotels facililties. Located in 3 km from center, not ideal.
