Hotel Le Caspien

The staff in this hotel are some of the most pleasant we have come across, nothing was too much trouble for them, on reception they spoke very good english as well as french obviously and sorted every question and request for us without a hitch, helping us out on numerous occasions. The hotel is very well situated in a modern area, there is a large shopping mall 5 mins walk away, and it is only a 30 mins stroll to the medina or 2 euro taxi ride, there are always taxis available out side just agree the price before getting in as is usual in most countries. The food in the hotel was very good but we ate out and about most of the time as we wanted to see the city, there are very good restaurants all over the city but there are plenty around the hotel, but must not forget the hotel itself if you do not want to venture out all the time. There is a small pool in the hotel but it was to cold for us to use in late December, also there is a large roof terrace with 360 panoramic views, plenty of chairs and tables, a few sun loungers and the bar staff will bring you drinks up, this area was very popular when we were there, and we sat up there waiting for our early evening airport pickup. The hotel is also not far from the airport about 20 mins due to the traffic. We would certainly stay in this hotel again.

the hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and always helpful. The roof bar is cool but the best thing? Definitelly the food! one of the best restaurants in Marrakech.I would definitelly recommend

During Christmas 2017 I stayed at Hotel le Caspien. The words to describe this property are: nice, comfortable, and convenient. The roof top bar is a heaven for a coffee, juice, or a sunset drink. The check in was smooth with a staff that is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. All of our questions were answered. The hotel is a bit worn, but that is part of the charm, deserving all its 3 stars with honor because of the affordability. The breakfast menu has variety offering both cold and hot choices. Conveniently located in a very trendy area of Marrakech where many stylish restaurants are within walking distance. If there is a need for modernity, the EDEN Shopping Mall complete with all mall staples like Starbucks, is 2 minutes away by foot. The best feature about the Hotel le Caspien is the location. I walked to the old city, taking about 20 minutes. Another option I used was taking the bus on Mohammed V, for a 5 minute ride to the square. Having a rooftop experience is a must, use this as a place to relax or just read a book under the sun. The hotel bar is busy in the evenings with a mixture of locals and guests.

This was an excellent hotel and made the holiday for us. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The 2 restaurants there were of a very high standard and most enjoyable and the other facilities on offer made the place a 'one stop shop' for money exchange, day trips, and information. Well done to all at Le Caspen, we will definitely return

We really liked this hotel. It had comfortable rooms, was very clean, everything worked ( not always the case in Morocco) and the staff were very helpful. The location is in a modern part of the city, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is situated very close to the YSL gardens and museum and a 20 to 30 minute walk to the old town. The food in the restaurant is very good and the hotel is licensed to sell alcohol. Stick to a medium beer as the large beer is about 2 litres!

The staff are 100% they where happy to helpful  Marwane who was on reception offered to send someone to the shop for me as it was late and i needed water to take my medication . Anytime i needed they got for me 😁

Very nice hotel, good bar and pool area,, food and service good too.. 30 minute walk to the Market square... lots of stalls and shopping at night... friendly and helpful staff providing maps and information on places close by to visit..,

Due to working purpose I have stayed one month in this hotel in October 2017. I was extremely satisfied with all that this hotel offer. Rooms ( most of them with balcony) are spacious and they were spotless, cleaned every day! Hotel offers a lot incl swimming pool , 2 restaurants, terrasse, booking trips around Morocco, and much more... Breakfast was unusually reach with big choice of food. But I was mostly impressed about staff in this hotel. Marwan, Soumaya, Mohamed and Hicham are great team, always ready for help whatever is in the question. Always with smile , always available, their friendly approach make me feel like at home. I highly recommend this hotel. For this price it is definitely the best hotel in Marrakech!

This is a very basic hotel with smallish rooms. We stayed here twice with a single night each time. Hard mattresses and ok pillows. The road facing rooms can be noisy with traffic and people on the street. I recommend to not get street facing as there is also not much to see. The restaurant serves a good range of food as well as alcohol but it is expensive compared to local eating. Overall the hotel service is ok. Breakfast was basic but it did have a few extra things we did get in other lower end Moroccan hotels. It's a bit over 2 kms from the central square and large mosque. You can walk to the nearby main road and catch bus number 1 that runs straight along this road for a check way to get to the square. Just be careful coming back as it can be easy to miss the stop.

This is a very good hotel but is becoming somewhat jaded in areas. We had room 206 .The sink was not fixed to the wall and it was chipped. The chrome work in the bathroom was jaded and the tiling looked tired. The black paint work gave it a somewhat dark atmosphere. There was on display a shopping guide for 2014 ! Somewhat dated for 2017. However these criticism are outweighed by the excellent customer service offered by the staff who were friendly and helpful in every department. The towels were changed daily and bed linen regularly and rooms cleaned to a good standard.Beds were comfortable but pillows could have been a little more resilient !.The breakfasts were ample with good choice but try to avoid the rush hour between 8.15 and 8.45. Waiters were vigilant and always on hand.We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but ate in every evening as it was cheaper than outside.Very good menu choices and food well prepared and presented. Reception staff always ready to help and advise on day trips. We had to challenge a bill on one day but it was clearly a genuine error rather than rip off. We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay here and were sad to leave. Well placed for both modern and ancient parts of the city and fairly quiet throughout. We would most certainly return here again.
