Excellent value for money, friendly staff. Breakfast absolutely OK. Le Caspien is located in the new town, but you can walk everywhere without any problems. Lots of restaurants and shops around. I would stay here again.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Spacious room and restroom. Free breakfast is included. The hotels is within walking distance of the gardens and Medina. The staff is also very friendly. I highly recommend it and I would stay here again if I find myself in Marrakech again.
Good location in new part of Marrakech, safely, good breakfast, comfy beds and helpful reception - this is why I stayed in this hotel not first time. Easy to get many places by walk, local buses, City Tour Bus or taxi ( airport taxi- 100Dh, airport bus- 30Dh). Also good for solo travelers.
Nice place, handy location. Reception staff were amazing. Clean, tidy rooms. Late check out. Extensive variety for the included buffet breakfast. Restaurant served excellent food. Would stay there again.
Location: located in the new city as opposed to the Medina, staying at Le Caspien meant we got to experience a different side to Marrakech rather than just the old city, where we would have spent most of our time regardless. There are great restaurants nearby and a modern shopping mall perfect for buying supplies if going out into the desert for a few days. The walk to the Medina was easy, quick, and safe. Service: the front desk staff were exceptionally kind and professional and all had an impressive fluency in English. The actual building had a beautiful interior with nicely designed rooms. Breakfast was delicious with varied options. Suggestions: The Wi-Fi signal was weak in my room, but strong in the lobby. In general, this was a dilemma experienced throughout Morocco and while traveling in the region.
Had a wonderful stay in Hotel Le Caspien. The breakfast was very good with multiple options. Hotel is located within walking distance of Yves St Laurent gardens and a quick taxi to the main square. What really impressed us was the care the staff provided when our ride to the Casablanca airport did not show up. They scrambled to get alternate transportation in place. Our original ride did eventually show up but they were prepared to send us in the hotel car if necessary. I would highly recommend the hotel.
Stayed 2 notes as part of a tour. First early morning a terrible noise at around 5 am woke us up. Pounding noise. The front desk couldn't explain it so after breakfast we were given another room. Nice staff.
This was the last night of an Intrepid tour and was chosen for us. Good choice! Smaller family run hotel (38 rooms), located in the newer Gueliz area on a side street just off Mohammed V and a pleasant 25-minute walk to the central Medina area. 15-minute walk to YSL museum (closed Wed) and the Gardens (across from YSL) in the opposite direction. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool is small and shaded for part of the day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Showers hot and bathrooms clean. A safe was provided but you will need to rent a key. The hotel has two restaurants that serves a mix of Moroccan and European food. Our meal was excellent, well presented and reasonably priced. The owner is a chef, and it shows. Others have said it may be one of the best in Marrakesh and I have no reason to doubt them. Even the least expensive item on the menu (pizza) was wood-fired, packed with ingredients and a full meal. Our chef friend declared the duck Confit superb. Breakfast was very average in comparison but not a deal killer. Overall, a very good stay.
I’ve stayed here for 4 nights , first night I was upgraded to suit room . Spacious and clean . Although all areas in general need an update. Friendly and helpful staff, great service. Free luggage storage . They carry your luggage for you even after you check out . Lovely bar and restaurant. In fact we ended up eating dinner there for 3 nights . John gory fish and apple tart is to die for . We had many cocktails at the bar and all were very good with smiley service . There’s hair dryer at the reception if you ask for it . Not the best shower , breakfast was average in a darkish room , however great hospitality and comfortable beds , clean room etc more than made up for it . I’d definitely recommend it and would return myself. Not far from the old town and it’s right next to a small shopping centre. We took taxis for going to and back to old town though since it was a little windy and rain on 2 days . Very short journey. Happy travels:)))
whilst the hotel itself was fine, rooms facing the street (101-104 and 201-204) copped the full blast of the downstairs dance club, followed by the patrons leaving the club, and everyone from the hotel who smoked standing outside and talking on the phone. Make sure you are away from the street frontage and you should be fine.
