Just unbelievable Amazing Hotel or shall I say an Riad in the Hivernage area. Nearby the Medina area. I'm travelling quite a lot for business and I was really impressed. More than a five star Riad and hotel personal was so charming. Great breakfast, one of the best known restaurant in Marrakesh. The best hotel I stayed in Marrakesh ever. So peaceful, ideal for a great rest. Thank you also to the great housekeeper/manager who made our stay during the weekend, magic!!! Surely, I'll ensure coming again.

We stayed twice at Dar Rhizlane. At the beginning of our trip and the last three days in Marrakesh. The hotel and it gardens were beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. We stayed initially at a Sèrail room. It was quaint and you really feel you are in Morrocco. Unfortunately English is limitedly spoken by reception that all the requests we made were lost in translation like booking a restaurant and reservation at their spa. Nevertheless after bringing this to their Manager's attention, service had been impeccable thereafter. On our last days, I stayed at the Orient suite which had a beautiful terrace attached to it. I found it odd though that they charge for coffee and tea in the room which are normal amenities given by hotels to guests and given the price of the room. Unlike the Sèrail room we stayed in beginning, which was cleaned in a timely manner and maintained, the suite was not. The suite was in the same state in the morning every time I come back at night. Other than that, my stay had been wonderful and staff were helpful.

The hotel is wonderful and set in a beautiful garden. The location is ideal and within 15 mins walk to the Medina area. Lots of nice restaurants close by. The staff were so attentive and really cared. The hotel manager was great and spent time asking how we were. The hotel restaurant is lovely both outdoors and inside with a great choice of food and good service. Breakfast was great by the pool. The bedrooms are cosy and traditional. Overall experience was excellent and highly recommended

Lovely little residence with friendly staff that are happy to help in any way, although, they can be a bit slow at times. Absolutely loved the pool area and charming Hammam and massage room. I had a 50 minute Swedish massage which was divine (for about £35). The accommodation is situated a pleasant 10 to 15 minute walk from the walls of the medina (and then a further 10 minute walk from the walls to the main square). If you like to have a drink (alcoholic) in the evening, then I would recommend staying in the Hivernage area rather than centrally in the medina as it is difficult to get a drink in the medina (be warned however, alcohol is not cheap - about £5 for a small bottle of beer). We did the hot air balloon with views of the Atlas mountains and I would highly recommend this. Marrakech is beautiful with the Atlas mountains acting as a stunning backdrop. Perfect weather in March - a sunny 24 Celsius.

My friend and I were planning a girls trip to Marrakech and chose this hotel for its beauty and small size. We were so pleased that the place was even more beautiful than the pictures. Once we arrived we were warmly greeted by Fatima who got us Moroccan mint tea and went over all the hotel services with us. The hotel quickly became our “home” as we would rest and relax after our daily excursions. The food here is amazing, breakfast is included and we ate dinner at the hotel every night because it was so good. The staff made our trip very enjoyable by remembering our names and providing anything we may need. The restaurant manager Simon was so hospitable, he spoke impeccable English and always had a story or recommendation for us. The spa was a luxury we indulged in almost every day and the ladies that worked there were as sweet as could be. To us, selecting our hotel was equally important to our vacation as was planning our activities. Since it is a smaller hotel, the staff to guest ratio is higher and therefore results in more personal service. Never did the hotel grounds feel crowded or that we were seen as just one of many guests. We made a great choice and will definitely return to Dar Rhizlane in the future. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you to our new friends at the Dar Rhizlane! The Laura’s

This hotel was beautiful. The gardens, rooms, pool, breakfast were all amazing. We slept with the windows open and could hear the birds in the morning. We would highly recommend this hotel. We needed to meet a group at a nearby hotel, and the staff personally carried our bags down the street. Very safe and charming...

All very good from the initial welcome to the genuine thanks and help when leaving. An excellent suite of rooms that suited our needs perfectly. All staff were first class with no request appearing difficult or too much trouble. The restaurant was excellent with every meal to a high standard. Its about a mile to walk to the Souk area but woth that for the peace.

We stayed for 3 nights with family of 6, booked convives suite. The hotel has everywhere the traditional feel. Has a lovely ambience all over and the same place looks different at different times of the day! Housekeeping was outstanding, we were surprised to see whenever we returned to the rooms after breakfast or lunch or dinner the beds were made, curtains were opened or closed as per the day and bathrooms were cleaned and swapped with fresh towels without any prompts. Most astonishing thing noticed was the temperature which was regulated as per the day, the room was well prepared warm at night so that we could straight go for a relaxing sleep. Enjoyed having mint tea near poolside. Breakfast was fabulous with both Moroccan and English variety. Loved the Moroccan bread called m'semen. The lady at Reception, Fatima is praiseworthy. She has been an excellent host and made our stay memorable. She had arranged a surprise chocolate cake with the live band to sing the birthday song in different languages in our guest room which has made the occasion extra special. Staff are commendable, always ready to help and provide an extra care. They help to get a taxi and negotiate the price for you which is very important to bargain when you are not used to such system and language barrier. Always good to ask for the round trip, so that the taxi driver shows you a picking point at destination and fixes a time so that you are brought back to the hotel and do payment at the end, which is cheap and best. At 10 min walk there is Menara Mall from hotel. We even walked to Jama Al Fana which took us 30-35 min and on return took horse tanga to the hotel. At hotel we have used the hammam and spa which was traditional, relaxing and of high standard.

Perfectly located small (boutique type) hotel with very unique ambiance, excellent service and amazing design. It was really special and memorable experience to discover Marrakech - I spent 5 nights in Dar Rhizlane in suite Marwane (two living rooms - one with real fireplace, another one with kind of chillout, bedroom and big terrace). When I will be visiting Marrakech again I have many doubts that I will be considering any alternative accomodation.

Booked dinner at Dar Rhizlane and were initially impressed by ambience and decor. However, service extremely slow and kept waiting in an ante room where door would not close and bitterly cold wind blowing through. Eventually drinks arrived and table ready. Menu very limited but food was served almost cold. The staff deducted cost of drinks but service and delivery of food spoiled our evening.
