Very convenient, well-kept property in a town (Mariposa, CA) with limited options. Staff very helpful, beds sleep well & the pool is a plus for kids/families. The breakfast area is too crowded. This hotel should consider renovating & annexing part of employee back room to create a small breakfast area.

Great small town, so the Monarch is centrally located. Close to Yosemite too.
Boutique hotel. Has a pool.that was not advertised so.we were thrilled to find it. We had to.go.for 5am hike and so.staff gave.us breakfast to go in the morning as their regular hours start at 6. We had problems with hot water and they offered another room.bit since we had unpacked already decided not.to move. Wish they had checked and given appropriate room.
Clean and nice people
Staff were are delightful. Very helpful and friendly. Property needs a little updating but overall is really good place to stay whenever in the area. I highly recommend.
Great place to stay when visiting Yosemite National Park.
It is a lovely hotel in a great location. We could walk down the street for food and shopping. We loved it.
