A/c worked really well. Room was clean and the property was quiet. It’s a small town so everything is walkable from this location. It’s a little over an hour from Yosemite national park.

The jacuzzi was broken which was disappointing after a day of hiking. The location is very convenient for accessing Yosemite. A nice view from the second floor.

Stayed here only for 1 night in Mariposa. It was very good with clean rooms and good comfy beds. The included breakfast was a bonus with good options. The room had both microwave and fridge. Mariposa has good options for dining too but 40 min far from Yosemite.

Excellent budget place to stay!

The hotel is very dated, as a lot of the reviews will tell you. However, that is where the criticism ends. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and rhe breakfast is very filling and varied. They've also given the hallways a lick of paint, which had freshened up the place. My only negative point, is that all of the breakfast serve ware is disposable which in this day in age, is a big no-no.

Excellent base for exploring Yosemite and Sequoia Redwoods and Kings Canyon parks along with the town of Mariposa itself. Easy parking, Wifi and good breakfast. The small area of note was the cleaning product smell in the room (possibly carpet cleaner?) but overall we had a great stay.

The breakfast was poor, who eats hard boiled eggs? Staff had a problem with the coffee and juice machines every morning as if they had never done it before. Very limited in choices. The pool was cool and there were no elevators so had to walk up stairs to get to room. The property is very spread out and parking was limited. Not the most up to date rooms. Cracked sink and toilet. Probably would not stay here again.

The staff was extremely helpful to my husband traveling alone who had a medical issue. They were kind and understanding and able to reassure me in this setting. After a great night's sleep and hydration, he was able to continue his trip without further issues. Thank you from his family.

We chose this place because when we booked, the motel’s price was very reasonable. However, the price increased significantly the next day. So, if you think the price here is still acceptable compared to nearby accommodations, considering its proximity to Yosemite National Park, it might be a good spot to rest. Overall, the staff we encountered on the first night and the following morning were nice. But our main issue was that the hotel experienced a power outage the next morning. As a result, breakfast was limited to a few cold items like muffins and milk, so we hardly ate. Although this may not have been the staff’s fault, the situation was quite frustrating. Shouldn't the hotel have a generator on hand? And shouldn’t the hotel provide some compensation or make up for the inconvenience when something like this happens?
