Unfortunately, this well-kept and convenient location to old town was overshadowed by a terrible property management company. First, there was no bedding available for our 3rd person, which was corrected quickly, but then upon their arrival I was asked for more money to complete check-in. I called vrbo who stated I didn't owe the property management company any fees. I contacted the PM again to advise what I had been told by vrbo and was met with hostility and more rules that I wasn't aware of, which was to give a deposit to verify I was the owner of the card being used, which is their 48hr booking fraud policy. This was not made known in writing and yet they send an "operations" manager to collect this from my door during my stay. The PM with a British accent berated me for not wanting to participate in this property rule, even though I was not made aware upfront. Try being on the road and tired/busy and property sending a random person to collect your ID and more money. I travel a lot and this is NOT a standard practice anywhere I've stayed. A well kept mom/pop property that is managed by unprofessional PM.
